Exciting News: Construction of Our Second Lodge Has Begun! 🏞️🌊

We’re thrilled to share that construction has officially started on our second lodge in Ha Giang! Located just outside Ha Giang City, this riverside lodge offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and a peaceful atmosphere to unwind.

Unlike our first lodge in the remote mountains, this lodge will serve as a comfortable and modern base for exploring the far north of Vietnam. It’s the perfect starting (or ending) point for your Ha Giang adventure, offering everything you need to relax before or after discovering the breathtaking mountain scenery and local ethnic communities.

Guests can enjoy complimentary bicycles and kayaks to explore the area at their own pace. The lodge will combine modern comforts with authentic, small-scale charm, creating a unique place to rest and recharge.

Follow our page for updates on the construction of both lodges and sneak peeks as they come to life!

Exciting News from Ha Giang!

Since April, we’ve been working on something truly special: our very own lodge, nestled in one of the most remote and breathtaking areas of Ha Giang. Surrounded by towering mountains and the serenity of nature, this lodge will offer views unlike any other in Vietnam.

But what makes this project even more meaningful is our close collaboration with the local ethnic minority community. Together, we’re not only building a beautiful lodge but creating an opportunity for these communities to be actively involved in managing it. This means that when you visit, you’ll get a true taste of local life and culture, while knowing that the people of this region are benefiting too.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue this incredible journey!

📍Another Dalat to visit

Last time, I have mentioned Dalat with waterfalls and adrenaline activities. However, Dalat has more to offer. Most people underestimate Dalat, so here are some recommendations for you to consider visiting Dalat:
1. Trekking and camping/glamping: Relaxed walks or adventurous treks through nature and along forest paths are another way to discover the beauty of this area. It is full of many natural sights in Dalat where you can find interesting animals and birds. Some tours can lead you to caves, waterfalls, lakes, volcanic peaks, minority villages, suspension bridges and farmland. The best known treks are to the top of Lang Biang Mountain and treks through the Bidoup Nui Ba National Park. Imagine waking-up in the cloud, feel the fresh chilly air after a long day trekking, you will find your mind peacefully.
2. Easy riders: exploring Dalat on motorbike with easy riders. These motorcycle guides drive around the city, but you can also book them in advance. They often have a book with reviews and pre-made routes, but you can also indicate your wishes. It is possible to take a day tour to a waterfall, plantations and forests, but you can even take a multi-day easy rider tour, where you can choose to go through the central highlands or drive to the coast and continue along one of the most beautiful coastal roads in Vietnam.
3. Lakes and more lakes: except having so many waterfalls, Dalat has also a lot of beautiful lakes in the surroundings. From Xuan Huong lake (in the city centre) to Tuyen Lam lake. Or those lakes in the valleys to lakes up in the cloud: whispering lake, golden stream lake, dakia lake, Ta Dung lake.
4. Flowers gardens/parks to tea and coffee plantations: The poetic city of Da Lat in Vietnam has a lot of charming name such as “city of love”, “City of thousands of pine trees”, “city of mysty”,… and the most impressive name is “city of flowers”. Coming to Da Lat, you will be impressed by so many kinds of beautiful and gorgeous flowers. Flowers are in everywhere in the city, from large fields on the valleys to small corners or on the sides of the streets. These are: roses, minosa, asteraceae all year round, purple flamboyant, orchids, wild sunflower (Japanese sunflower), cherry blossom, chrysanthemums, hortensia, hydranga and many more. Vietnam is one of the world’s largest coffee exporters and many of the highlands around Dalat are used for plantations. The central highlands of Vietnam offer the ideal climate for growing tea and coffee. When you drive through the Dalat region you will pass large plantations of both coffee and tea and depending on the season there will be countless tarps on the road where coffee beans dry in the sun.

📍Cao Bang - Ban Gioc Waterfall

The best time to visit Ban Gioc waterfall is around August and September, the perfect combination when there is a lot of water and the color is clear and blue. You will also find beautiful rice fields in Ban Gioc during this season.

The Ban Gioc waterfall flows into the Quay Son river, in the middle of a mountain range. From the height of 30 meters, the thunderous water flows give you a powerful feeling. Ban Gioc is considered the most impressive and beautiful waterfall in Southeast Asia. You come here not only to view the amazing waterfall, but also the breathtaking scenery. The waterfall is easily accessible via a gravel path. This path runs through a grassy bank and over wooden bridges. The Ban Gioc waterfall is right at the border, with Vietnam on one side of the Quay Son River and China on the other side. This means that one half of the waterfall is in Vietnam and the other half in China. On both sides you can take a bamboo raft that can bring you near the thundering water, so you could practically shake hands with Chinese tourist from the other boats. A ride of 10 minutes on a raft costs around 2 dollar.
