We totally recommend this tour that went above and beyond our expectation and what a great value for this full 4 hour experience on the back of a motorcycle going from place to place while discovering the city by night! Be prepared to fill your stomach and have an amazing time with locals. Our hosts Linh and Jason were not only great people to talk to and spend the evening with but also great scooter drivers! They provided us with a thorough explanation as to what the ingredients were for each dish, how different the presentation and flavour can be from the North compared to this part of the country and also showed us how best to eat it. The grilled glutinous banana dish from Vietnam has just been voted one of the top 9 desserts in the world by CNN in the US. This is a rustic dish that Westerners are very accustomed to.

The ingredients for this recipe are peeled porcelain bananas that have been washed in diluted salt water and marinated for 30 minutes with 2-3 tablespoons of sugar and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. After the sticky rice with coconut milk mixture is cooked, stretch out thinly, top it with bananas, roll it up in banana leaves, and bake. When the banana leaves are scorched, the sticky rice skin is crispy and golden, and the fragrance is pleasant.

The remaining names on the list include: Qatar chocolate cake, Italian ice cream, Kenyan cheesecake, Qatar macaroons, German chocolate-dipped fresh strawberries, and other desserts from Brazil, Turkey, and India.
