“Solomon Airlines will commence a weekly direct flight from Brisbane to Vanuatu’s Espiritu Santo island from Thursday 4th July, with the 2-hour 50-minute non-stop service reopening an important direct route between Australia and Vanuatu, via the Brisbane gateway.

Espiritu Santo located in Vanuatu’s northern islands is the country’s largest island and one of its most popular international holiday destinations. The Solomon Airlines service will provide a direct route for passengers and air freight including Australian leisure travellers.

Espiritu Santo is a magical location for holidaymakers to lose themselves amongst the blue holes, world famous beaches, dive sites, kastom and culture of the island. Santo is as laid back as you can get and a great place to escape for your winter break.”

The Museum will open for the Cruise ship on Sunday the 16th.

The Museum will close Monday the 17th.

Some announcements regarding this weekend at the museum.

Our BigFala Yard Sale is going gangbusters, but there are plenty more bargains to be had.

We’re re-stocking all the time with more building supplies, more tools and more homewares for both the house and garden! But tomorrow is the final day. So come down before lunchtime Saturday and grab a bargain or two.

Sunday, the museum will be open! We’re not normally open on Sunday’s but a cruise ship is due into Luganville so Marina, Lyn will be holding the fort ably assisted by other museum board members.

As the guys will have worked for seven days without a break, they're having the day off on Monday! So the museum will re-open on Tuesday at 8.00am.

A big thank you to Marina and Lyn for all their amazing hard work.
