Let’s talk passports and visas for US Citizens

Whenever you travel internationally it is most likely required to travel with a passport except on cruises.

Although it is highly recommended to continue to use a passport on cruises! You never know what could happen? There might be an emergency and you need to fly back or you might miss your ship.
Most cruise lines let you travel with a picture ID and a birth certificate. This is only on closed-loop sailings, meaning it embarks at a certain U.S. port and returns to the same port!

However when you travel by plane you absolutely need a passport and depending on the country, you might even need a visa.

Passports should not expire within six months of your return date to the U.S. for most places. You could be denied travel for this simple reason.

Two ways to make sure you know what is needed before you book that trip!
1. Ask ME, your travel agent!
2. Use the Learn About Your Destination tool on the travel.state.gov website

This one I am EXCITED for!
This was my honeymoon hotel and we have been dying to go back.
Everything was phenomenal , the food, the staff, the level of service, the room, the spa.

We had the best experience getting a couples massage. They have the hydrotherapy circuit which we can experience part of it together and the other half you enjoy by yourself or with other women. They then take you to a suite that has the 2 massage beds and a tub plus a shower to rinse off after. It was hubby first massage and he fell in love!

The service from arrival to departure is nothing short of amazing. They pick you up at the aiport and welcome you with a cocktail in the lobby while you check in. They have an app where you can communicate with staff especially the concierge desk. They helped us set up tours and we even overslept and they helped us take a taxi to get to our destination. 24 hour in room dining if you desire.

The food did not disappoint! They have a variety of different restaurants. We tried the usual outdoor restaurants by the pool. We also tried their traditional Mexican , Italian , steakhouse, and Asian restaurants. But the winner was....
Maria Dolores, it is a gastronomy experience that left us in awe. It is the only reservation required restaurant on site but it is well worth it.

I could go on and on about this hotel but I highly recommend.

This particular trip I chose was for a 4-night stay for mother's day 2024 and I chose an INSPIRA Terrace Suite for me and hubby.
Inspire level suites include extra perosnl;ized service and access to exclusive locations throughout out the hotel plus butler service before, during, and after your stay!

$4,187 with taxes, fees, and 100% trip protection.
We would only pay $310 at time of booking and the remainder would be due by March 27, 2024.

Let’s get cruising! 🛳️ Since me and hubby have been pregnant since we’ve been married, I think we deserve a cruise getaway for our next anniversary and that’s just what I’ve been looking into!

I chose to explore Virgin Voyages on the Valiant Lady. I have never been 🫣 but my team leader swears by this ship! And I’ve heard nothing but great things.

Virgin voyages caters to adults only! They are a luxury cruise line!

Things I am excited for!
- Taking advantage of all restaurants on board for free because everything is included and their menus are curated by Michelin-starred chefs. Especially their Korean BBQ, Mexican, and Teat kitchen which is an experience! 🌮
- No buffets because quite honestly sometimes they disappoint, but also because I get overwhelmed anxiety by all the people flooding them lol 🍦
- Calling my kids back home because I know I will miss them but I have free Wi-Fi included! So I will be one less stressed momma on board! 🛜
- Enjoying their shows, I’ve heard they are top notch! 🎪
- Checking out the Manor, which is their nightclub that has an epic photo-opp entrance and they have great shows as well. 💃
- The SPA because who doesn’t love a good massage when on vacation! 💆‍♀️

And if I can convince hubby to stay in their Rockstar Quarters then I’m definitely looking forward to staying in their lavish quarters with our very own curated full sized bottles stocked up bar by our personal rockstar agent available 24/7 and have access to Richards Rooftop which is their members only lounge day and night! Plus we get to arrive earlier and start enjoying right away! 🥂

Did you know you can book a trip with only a minimal deposit and pay little by little?

So deposits work a little different depending on the company/vendor. Let me get you the most up to date details on this.

Disneyworld/Disneyland: Only 200 deposit for any stay! Full payment due 30 days prior to check in date.

Universal Theme Parks and Resorts: Only $50 deposit per person! Full balance due 45 days prior to check in date.

All-Inclusive Resorts: Range normally from $100-$500. Full balance due 45 days prior to check in date. When you inquire of course this is something I can check for you.

Now this is where it gets a little tricky! Cruise lines have varying levels depending on how many nights, but don’t worry I’ll explain.

Disney Cruise Line: Deposit is 20% of booking. Full balance is due 120 days prior to sailing date.

Virgin Voyages: Deposit is 20% of booking. Full balance is due 120 days prior to sailing date.

Royal Caribbean Cruise Line: 1-5 nights $100 per passenger, full balance due 75 days before sailing date. 6-9 nights $250 per passenger, full balance due 90 days prior to sailing date.10 or more nights $450 per passenger 10% deposit, full balance due 90 days prior to sailing date.

Norwegian Cruise Line: 1-6 nights $100 per person, full balance due 120 days prior to sailing date.7+ nights $250 per person, full balance due 120 days prior to sailing date.

Carnival Cruise Line:2-3 nights $100 per person, full balance due 76 days prior to sailing date.4-5 nights $150 per person, full balance due 76 days prior to sailing date.6-9 nights $250 per person, full balance due 91 days prior to sailing date.10 or more nights $400 per person and balance 91 days before sailing date.

This is all information I give to you before you book, when you book and get reminders periodically before your trip!

As my first spot exploring the US 🇺🇸of course I chose Florida!

Universal Theme Parks are such a great option for spring break! 🎢

You know it will be hot! So why not take advantage of going to Volcano Bay, their water park. I would personally slice that park in between Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. For all my Harry Potter lovers this is the trip for you! 🪄When you stay at one of their resorts you get early access to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Islands of Adventures is probably my favorite roller coaster park. Since I have kids now I also enjoy Seuss Landing, get to go on all the kiddie rides and take break from all the high thrills. However, my forever favorite ride is Spiderman! 🕷️

This package I priced out for a 4-night stay March 25, 2024- March 29, 2024 at the Universal's Endless Summer Resort- Dockside Inn for 2 adults and 2 children in a 2 queen pool view room. 3 day park to park tickets.

Today I'm taking you to this family friendly hotel in Cancun! 🇲🇽
It has over 500 rooms with 10 restaurants🌯 , pools with bars🍹 , children's pool, direct access to beach 🌊 , kids club with activities, free wifi 💻 and it is all inclusive! You don't have to worry about a single meal throughout your whole stay!
