From 1st Jan 2024 if an owner submits to committee their desire to use their apt for LESS then 30 days the Condo law changes state the maintenance fee is no longer without charge and will be based on the formula of 1 person occupancy (25% if you own a 1 bed apt)
Repair fund/charge remains the same as before and is not covered on the 30-day rule.
Fees up until 1st Jan 2024 remain on the existing ruling so, it becomes more difficult for the committee to recalculate as it would only be liable for the period 1st Jan 2024 to the end of the financial year on 30th September
Those applying the 30 day rule will require a new Invoice based on the above format.
