Registration and Enrollment for the 2016 Summer Work and Travel Program begins on Wednesday July 1st 2015. We have reviewed and updated a couple of our programs, program fees, application forms and our policies.
We had a lot of applicants who came late during the past season but we had very limited slots for them and to make sure this doesn't repeat for the upcoming season, we are currently negotiating with a number of organizations in the US for more allocations and we would be announcing our new partners as soon as all the paperwork is completed and the deal is sealed.
We also had complaints about the accessibility of our offices. We heard your feedback and to make sure each prospective applicant get access to an agent no matter where you are in Ghana, we are currently in negotiations with some of the major universities in Ghana to set up on-campus mini-offices to allow our applicants have access to our on-campus agents. After these changes and add-ons are made, we hope to serve you even better and we are anticipating a successful season for 2016.

We encourage you to share your experience with those who are yet to go and just before you get too excited, there will be a pre-departure orientation before you depart. An email will be sent to you informing you about the date and venue for the pre-departure orientation.
Enrollment for the 2016 Summer Work and Travel Program will begin on Monday June 1st 2015. Please note that it's on "First Come, First Served" basis and the earlier you enroll, the better your chances of getting a well paid job and a DS 2019.

JOB POSITIONS : 1 Cashier, 1 Secretary and 1 Office Manager

A new office for Traveling Agency will be opened next month (April, 2015) in Ash-Town, Kumasi - Ghana and we are currently hiring for a Full-Time position for a Cashier, a Secretary and an Office Manager.
SCHEDULE: Mon - Fri (8am-5pm), Sat (8am- 2pm). Applicant should be willing to stay over time during peak seasons.
OVERVIEW: Perform routine office duties, help clients process their applications, prepare clients for their visa interviews. Make sure clients have all necessary traveling documents before leaving the country. Deliver PowerPoint presentations and orientations to school campus, supporters union, and corporate bodies at least once in every two months (performed by the office manager or the secretary).
EDUCATION & SKILLS: Some Post-Secondary degree/Undergraduate degree or equivalent with at least one year experience using cash machines, computers, Internet, basic office equipment, MS.: Word, Excel, PowerPoint (2013), Computer skills sufficient to operate online systems and advance softwares like Corel Draw/Photoshop (performed by the secretary/manager)
EXPERIENCE: At least 6 months previous experience for any of the positions you apply. At least ONE travel experience in another country other than Ghana (for the manager position).
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:
》Schedules and attends orientations, presentations, and negotiation deals with clients within the Kumasi sub-metro (Manager).
》Provides assistance in the planning and implementation of administrative projects, coordinates work between clients and our partners (Manager).
》Coordinate assigned season calendar through effective and creative scheduling (Secretary)
》Develops, coordinates, and maintain record keeping and filling systems. Assists in compiling and reviewing data, in making calculations, and in preparing a variety of administrative and statistical reports. Assists in the preparation of presentations (Secretary).
》Receive payments and facilitate financial transactions both online/virtual payments and in-person payments (Cashier).
》Deposit all in-person payments at the bank and submit end-of-day reports to the secretary and the manager (Cashier).
》All Candidates must have good communication skills, must be fluent in English and Asante-Twi, be flexible, friendly, have a positive attitude, hard working, dedicated, and willing to make a difference in the lives of our cherished clients. You may require a Police Bureau Criminal Records check. The job is dependent on suitable references/guarantors.
SALARY & BENEFITS: Salary is based on experience and education qualification. There will be periodic raises, commission, and bonuses.
