Mojácar enjoys 320 days of sunshine a year with average temperatures ranging from 12° C - 27 ° C highs in low season and 23- 36° C highs in summer. There is easy parking outside the flat if you are driving and if not, the reliable loop bus service gets you around all of Mojácar Playa (beach) and Mojácar Pueblo (the hill top village) during the day and during the night buses stop at all the restaurants and clubs. If you can drag yourself away from the beach or the pool, or you are visiting in winter, there's plenty of choice for sightseeing ; Cabo de Gato, a protected area of natural beauty, Garrucha fishing village, Mojácar village and cave homes. Short trips in any direction bring you to unique towns and villages such as Bedar, perched on a hill top overlooking lush valleys, a favourite with artists, painters and musicians. Turre has exceptional 16th century architecture and is well known for rock climbing and walking in the Sierra Cabrera mountain range. Fly into Almería if you can, for the easiest, quickest route to Mojácar. Otherwise, Alicante and Murcia airports are within reach and flight bargains can be found by shopping around.
