What a lovely last day of this groups week!
Rain couldn’t wash away our stoke! 🌧️ Despite the drizzles, the waves were epic and our spirits high.
Best way to enjoy this lately wet European summer.

From early bird sessions to pizza evenings, every moment was special. Thank you to everyone who made this camp special.

Ever wondered how it is to go on an only women surf trip?

So we added a Creative Writing Workshop to our extras 🙌🏼Journaling supports this learning process and makes you aware of it. Take this experience into your everyday life and benefit from its positive effect on you even after the week is over.

Beginnt der Start in die neue Woche für dich mit einem mulmigen Gefühl? Sogar mit Ängsten, Traurigkeit oder Stress? Dir fehlt die Motivation und Leidenschaft am Montag Morgen? Du bist träge oder angespannt?
Dann hat dich der Monday Blues gepackt: Negative Emotionen die viele Leute am Anfang ihrer Arbeitswoche verspüren, wenn sie in ihrer Arbeit nicht zufrieden sind. Viele Studien haben gezeigt, dass der emotionale Zustand einen großen Einfluss auf die Qualität und Leistungsfähigkeit der Arbeit hat. Wenn man seinen Job hingegen gerne macht, sieht man den Montag Morgen als eine neue Möglichkeit und startet gerne in die neue Woche.

Wie ist es im Ausland zu leben und zu surfen? Lonnie erzählt uns wie sie der Liebe wegen viel Zeit in Nicaragua verbracht hat. Dann aber wieder zurück nach Europa ging.
Die ehemalige WaveSister Gästin teilt ihre Zweifel und Struggle auf beiden Kontinenten. Auch wie es ist, als alleinerziehende Mutter einen solchen Schritt zu gehen. Und wie sie dadurch zur entspannteren Surferin wurde!

Brettliebe! Die Bretter die die Welt bedeuten. Ja, manche bauen regelrecht eine Beziehungen zu ihren Surfboards auf. Auch zu ihrem Schulungsbrett! Da ist der Trennungsschmerz manchmal groß vor der Abreise ;)
Board love! The boards that mean the world. Yes, some actually form a relationship with their surfboards. Also to their surfclass board! The pain of separation is sometimes great before departure ;)

eim Surfen muss man sich nach den Wellen richten.⠀Oft beeinflussen Wind und Gezeiten die Qualität der Wellen. Somit kommt man nicht drum rum auch mal früh aufstehen zu müssen. Auch wenn es manchmal schwer fällt, wird man meistens mit guten und vor allem leeren Wellen ganz früh belohnt. Bist du ein Frühaufsteher?
When surfing, you have to go with the waves. Wind and tides often affect the quality of the waves. So you can't avoid to get up early. Even if it is sometimes difficult, you are usually rewarded with good and, above all, empty waves. Are you an early riser?

Frustration beim Surfen? Ja, die gibt es, sehr heufig - auch beim coolsten Sport der Welt! Oft steckt man sich zu hohe Ziele und Erwartungen.⠀Viele müssen auch erst ein mal das Scheitern lernen und akzeptieren. Was hilft dabei? Surfen gehen mit guter Begleitung.⠀So nimmt man den eigenen Druck raus und kann sich zusammen freuen.⠀Lerne bei uns untter Frauen und immer mit bester Begleitung im Wasser!
Surfing frustration? Yes, it exists, very often - even in the coolest sport in the world! Goals and expectations are often too high. Many have to learn and accept failure first.⠀But what helps? Go surfing with good company. In this way you take your own pressure off and you can enjoy surfing together. Learn with us among women and always with the best vibe in the water!

WaveSisters is looking for a female surf instructor for our surf camp on Lanzarote. Starting latest beginning of September. Longterm interests preferred, but at least until may 2017. With work contract, social security. You have no big groups, you will be independent in your work, have lovely clients and half day work only to surf best waves in Europe :-) You speak fluent english, have good social skill and an open mind!
