This is why many people use donkeys to protect their livestock. They don't like dogs at all! Here is " Mini" our mini mule not happy about the dogs in her pasture! Unfortunately Mini also has too much fun getting the sheep to run, so she can't stay with them.

We like to rotate the animals into different pastures here to reduce parasites, and give the grass a break. The baby calves love it! They have so much fun running around in a "new" space!
The quail are growing up! These are Texas A&M Jumbo Quail. They go from hatch to laying eggs in 6 weeks! They have to really grow fast to accomplish that. We added sand boxes and a live plant and a fan to keep everyone happy and healthy
