Kennet and avon match results .!!conditions were well let's say a bit breezy to say the least .and didn't help canal was Jin clear .

Lee fished the long pole shallow between the islands with pellets to win the match .

Sunday saw twyford valley match group head Down to Oxford to fish the prolific stable lakes .with carp getting ready to spawn the fishery decided to switch of leaving some anglers with nothing to weigh in .results to follow ........

Sorry for the lack of updates ,posts etc .as I have been away all winter on winter league duties .we have a long summer ahead of us with some great venues in the forth coming months .i will try and keep you up to date with venue results ,pictures ,match fixtures ,etc tight lines !

Sunday saw twyford fishing the Wallingford stretch of the river Thames .expectations were not very high as the river only had a tinge of colour and was lacking flow .proving everyone wrong it fished ok.
1st Kevin Woolford 12lb 08oz roach and skimmers .caught on pole
2nd Henry goulash 10lb 02oz caugh roach and chub lets on feeder
3rd tony Clemson 7 lb 10oz roach and skimmers on the pole.
Every angler caught bits and weighed an average of 5 plus lb

Vic sexton had a busy day today catching over 300 roach for 13 lb

Twyford valley ventured out today to stable lake in kirtlington,Oxford .it was mixed emotions for most as the venues water level was down by another 4 inches .with a busy lake weights were guaranteed to be lower than usual.however!! Lee Giles was on form again and managed 119lb 8oz to take 1st place .vic sexton was 2nd with 64lb 3rd was jack baker with 55lb .next match is on Wednesday where we will be fishing White House lake staceys .!!!! Tight lines !!!!

Twyford valley were in good form this weekend just gone .seven teams attended the fahnam and district teams of 3 open at bad shot lea lake .known as a great silverfish water .with the venue fishing well ,anglers were wondering how the lake would cope with such pressure.overall the lake fished well with two twyford team s finishing in the top 3 .1st place went to Simon hunter ,gilly,and Ian turner.all from Farnham .2nd was lee Giles Adam burrows,and Phil Beales from twyford 3rd was Geoff ball tony salinski and Tom Morretti .so well done guys
