RAB - Brtonigla Development Agency L.t.d. it’s a private limited liability company founded in 2012 by the Municipality of Brtonigla - Verteneglio with the aim to support local food production, locally-owned businesses, tourism, agriculture and community based initiatives. Taking in consideration the potential of the territory of Brtonigla which is located on four different type of lends (red, grey

, black, white), a characteristic that make this territory unique and very attractive from the naturalistic and environmental point of view, RAB priority areas are focused on:
• To further economic development and regeneration;
• To further develop tourism and regeneration;
• To promote business efficiency and competitiveness;
• To create/support a network of international partners and cooperation;
• To contribute to sustainable development and conservation of the territory;
• To further economic and agricultural development;
• Maintenance of high and stable levels of economic growth and employment;
• To enhance the development and application of skills relevant to employment;
• To promote the brand and the territory of Brtonigla - Verteneglio on international level. Target group of the agency are local farmers, growers and makers of food and drinks, including wineries. The main goal of the agency is to become an essential factor in the development of the economic sphere with emphasis on agriculture and tourism as strategic strengths. RAB main activity is to assist local agricultural producers market their products and give them professional assistance and consultation services in order to improve food safety and quality management system. Specified tasks are carried out through the provision of financial assistance, education, analysis of wines and musts, implementation of local, regional and international projects, supporting locally-owned businesses, tourism, agriculture and community based initiatives.
