I'm in the process of setting up a Bed & Breakfast(s) for those who are interested in seeing another side of Jamaica, not just the tourist areas. I'm from a very small town in the parish of Clarendon called Nine Turns. I've always wanted to open my town up to people so they can see how some Jamaicans
actually live. The area is quiet, serene, and has a beautiful view of the countryside. If escaping the concrete jungle is what you are looking for, then this is the place for you. If you just want to get away, to relax, recoup and unwind, please consider stopping in my town for just that. We will provide family friendly living and home cooked island food. Away from the all inclusive resorts, you will not be surrounded by hundreds of other tourists, or stuck figuring out the schedule for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The area is basically agricultural. I've had a few people say that they would only like to be in the country area for a few days. Travel and tours of the local area, and hands on eco tours. Transportation will be provided if you want to stay in Nine Turns for a few days and then lodge somewhere else, i.e. Ocho Rios, Montego Bay, Negril Etc. A variety of options will be available to cater to the needs of the individual or family, including tours outside of Nine Turns. I'm compiling a list of those who are interested in visiting.
