On Tuesday 02 April from 1-4pm, Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark are hosting an Easter Scavenger Hunt for the whole family. It’s free and there is no booking necessary. Upon arrival at Castle Caldwell Forest, just 5miles from Belleek, a Geopark staff member will give you a scavenger hunt booklet before you set off on your self-led trail to see what you can find. We are very proud of our little village

EDERNEY'S RESURGENCE: A TESTAMENT TO COMMUNITY SPIRIT

On this morning's episode of "Your Place and Mine," hosted by Anne-Marie McAleese, BBC Radio Ulster showcased the vibrant community of Ederney. Dr Anne Monaghan, representing the Ederney Community Development Trust, passionately highlighted the village's remarkable transformation. From the restoration of Ellie Murphy's Café house, a cherished Georgian gem, to the creation of a community function room and gym at St. Joseph's GAA Park, the Trust's initiatives have revitalised Ederney's heart.

These efforts have sparked a ripple effect, catalysing further improvements along Main Street and attracting new families from as far as Belfast and Lisburn. Ms. Monaghan expressed gratitude to all supporters, organisations and volunteers, underscoring the collaborative spirit that has made Ederney a truly exceptional place to call home.
