Best of luck to the participants and organisers of Inishbofin Regatta, a fabulous day of traditional currach racing, entertainment, music and craic taking place next Sunday 18th August. Our lifeboat crew will be docked at the pier around 5pm, please stop by to say hello and we love any opportunity to show off our very special lifeboat, St Christopher.

* Please pick up after your animal's waste; and
* If you're taking a walk, would you do a 2 minute beach clean?

Inishbofin Regatta 2024 - Sunday 18th August🚣‍♀️

Experience the thrill of traditional currach racing, featuring 4-oar, 6-oar, and more. Registration begins at 12 PM at the new pier, with races commencing around 1 PM.

Join us at the Beach Bar in the evening for a delicious hog roast and live music, followed by a fundraising raffle. It’s the perfect way to unwind and soak up the island’s vibrant atmosphere 🎻🎶🚣‍♀️

Focus on Talks 12.30 & 13.00
Guided Nature Walk at 14.00

Mon 24th
Pony Information from 10.00 to 12.00

Tue 25th
Focus on Talks 14.30 & 15.00
Guided Archaeology Walk being led by local Archaeologist at 11.00

Wed 26th
Pony Information from 10.00 to 12.00
Guided bog Walk at 14.00
Please note for this walk there must be a minimum of 5 people for the walk to go ahead. This walk will cover rough wet boggy terrain.

Walks may be cancelled at short notice due to weather conditions etc.

For all our Walks we recommend you wear good walking shoes/boots and appropriate clothing for the weather.

All Events are Free
