A bit of j2 Telehandler training this week for our Chief seagull Seagull Training Services 'Accredited Training Provider'
The suns been shining for us which has been really pleasant, although recycling sites can get very dusty.

Great job guys, excellent low score passes from all candidates.

Ian Bills director of South Wales and South West FLT Training has also been running various courses in Mid & North Wales for us, big thank you goes out to him, great feedback received as always.

Seagull Training Services 'Accredited Training Provider' is Back in full swing and flying high with Chief Seagull Ian Robertson providing training this week for HL Training Services down here in Devon.

Simon Tynan is down in Deepest Cornwall this week and next putting the Seagull Novice trainees through their paces on Skid Steer, then MEWP and B2 Counter Balance Refreshers.

Back to it next week after a couple of weeks break. Whilst I’ve been away we have had Simon Tynan, Lee Davies and Ian Bills of South Wales and South West FLT Training helping Seagull Training Company owner Ian Robertson Cat 2 ITSSAR AITT meet our training obligations.

More 180 training today contracting for HL Training Services by our chief Seagull.

Day 3, (last day) includes attachment specific training, and site specific training.
So pleased I’ve got a great trainee this week. Theory test done, pre-shift check test done, just a practical examination this arvo.

Day 1 Novice with a new training category for Seagull Training.

Our 1:1:1 trainee is right on his game already, great start, weekend work for us this week.

We've had a busy week in Devon and Cornwall! Simon and Ian Robertson from Seagull Training Company owner Ian Robertson Cat 2 ITSSAR AITT have been conducting training on J2 Telehandlers, Counter Balance B1’s, and 360 Re-Handlers. Exciting times as our new training books have also arrived, and we're thrilled with how they look. 🚀

I’m Back to work with a bump after a few days off. What’s happened in those few days. Our amazing Instructor simon tynan has passed his ITSSAR instructors course, we have extended a large contract for additional training, conducted courses on Counter Balance B1 & B2, Reach D1 & D2 & side-loader C1. Big up to all for you help this week, and thanks to Shane Richardson for your help with our new Training Booklet.

We also “flew through” our Annual ITSSAR accreditation audit, buzzing !

B1,B2, VNA and Reach refreshers here in the South West.

All regular customers with some high standards of operator skill levels. It’s always rewarding to see developing operator culture change over the years and to see a continued improvement in the compliance of our regular customers.

What a week for Seagull Training this week.
B1 & B2 Counter Balance refreshers, Experienced B1, Material re-Handler refreshers, J2 Telehandler refreshers, Scissor lift and Boom lift refresher and novice courses. With our annual Audit thrown in for good measure. Phew. ! And breath !!

Catching the early sunrise for the training session today. Bank holidays in Cornwall always mean heavy holiday traffic so it’s always worth an early start.

We’ve been helping HL Training Services this week here in Cornwall, great trainees, great feedback.

A long weekend that will include some Audit Preparation and some well needed down time at the beach 🏄🏿‍♂️. 800 miles this week.

Finally some sunshine this week….. guess what !!!! I’m stuck inside the deepest Bowells of a large shopping centre here in Cornwall.

No lorries to load 🤔 so what are our options 😎 Easy, we set up a simulated lorry loading lesson on our novice B1 course.

I will always avoid saying
“ we have a problem”
Instead, I always ask myself
“what are the options ?”

Another successful week this week.

After a shaky start with one of our candidates, we adapted our approach and boom, success.

We are Always ready to adjust our training techniques to suit our candidates.

Courses covered this week in Devon, Cornwall and South Wales included, Scissor Lift, Boom Lift, Pivot Steer, B1 & B2 Counter Balance.

Some big pumps to move around as part of todays training.

Brand new Hyster H5.5FT really nice bit of kit 😍

B1 or B2 ?? Category ?
Lots of people will get this wrong.

Categorising your machine is on ‘actual rated’ capacity and therefore this truck comes under the B1 specs ! With an actual rated capacity of 4,670kgs, even though it’s a 5.5t machine.
