Yesterday we attended the Elvis by Candlelight at Wells Cathedral, Somerset. The Cathedral was beautiful and even more atmospheric with candles. There was a great atmosphere as people sang along and everyone was up dancing by the end of the show. JD King performed brilliantly and entertained us in true Elvis style

Yesterday we saw Jay Osmond in his own show with his band in Rhyl Pavilion, Wales. He sang songs from the 70s/80s. It was lovely to hear the songs and it brought back happy memories to us and the audience. Jay did an incredible drum solo and received a standing ovation. We also had a ‘Meet and Greet’ where Jay spent time talking and sharing stories with everyone which was lovely.

Congratulations to The Peabody Memphis hotel on your 155th anniversary this week. This hotel is an historic and beautiful hotel with it's famous Duck March. Lansky 126 shop is inside The Peabody Hotel and stocks a great range of clothes including Memphis related items and designs paying tribute to rock n roll legends such as Elvis Presley. Hal and his staff love to chat with the customers and tell stories from the days gone by. If you visit Memphis it is always good to pop in to Lansky's and also have some lunch at the Peabody Hotel

Yesterday and today we were remembering Elvis. We spent time at the Arches London Bridge with other fans where there was a Candlelight Vigil which was moving and emotional.

We had a great time at the Retrofestival in Newbury yesterday. They had an impressive range of retro cars and bikes, army trucks, lots of vintage stalls, a Spitfire, singing and dancing throughout the day and to top it all a fly over by a Lancaster Bomber.
