A big shout out and 📣THANK YOU📣 to Port Rexton Brewing for making Hike Discovery a recipient of the Give Back Tap Fund. The brewery plays a critical role in financially supporting our trail system through their collaboration with Ales For Trails, an independent annual fundraising event that donates its proceeds to Hike Discovery. The work of individuals, councils, businesses and not for profits in our region that go above and beyond to build a healthy community has earned the Discovery Trail a UNESCO Global Geopark designation.

UNESCO Global Geoparks (UGGp) are single, unified geographical areas where sites and landscapes of international geological significance are managed with a holistic concept of protection, education and sustainable development. Their bottom-up approach of combining conservation with sustainable development while involving local communities is becoming increasingly popular. At present, there are 213 UNESCO Global Geoparks in 48 countries.

🍻The Port Rexton Brewery keeps its doors open throughout the winter, providing a safe and welcoming space for community to gather. Follow their social media to keep up to date on all the great activities they offer like Trivia Night, live musical performances, game nights and more. What's new on our ?

With the help of all of YOU, we raised approximately $220 for Trinity Fort to Forge 5k/10k in September and October from our and through trivia donations. They are raising funds for both the Trinity Fire Department and The Fort Point Lions Club. For the month of November and December, we'll be raising funds for the Hike Discovery!

Thanks to everyone for helping us raise money for organizations in our community, you all rock!

Did you know Ales for Trails is dog friendly?!

We've had numerous dogs participate in this fun event, and they love it (look how happy these two are)! They'll also get a post-race dog treat and dog beer, on us!

！ ＶＯＬＵＮＴＥＥＲＳ ＮＥＥＤＥＤ ！

Ales for Trails wouldn't be possible without our crew of amazing volunteers! We're currently looking for a few extra people that want to lend a hand during this years event on November 2nd.

We're looking for volunteers to help with registration, water stations, and time keeping. If you can help, please send us a message or reach out to Alicia (alicia@portrextonbrewing).
