Performed in a handpicked and particularly oppressive cave deep in the labyrinth of Just the Tonic@The Caves at midnight, be there when hell breaks loose. Coming on the heels of We Keep You Company’s well-received production of The Doorkeeper in a small Soho Theatre in 2012, this psychological black comedy continues their run of high standards and features original music and projections.

Officer Willem – “Now you’re starting again. We don’t answer questions like that.”
Officer Franz – “We could be wearing the prettiest uniforms in the city, Mr. K., but your situation wouldn’t be any worse.”
Judge – “Today you have robbed yourself of the advantages a hearing gives to an accused man.”
Uncle Karl – “You sit here quietly while you’ve got a criminal trial around your neck?!”
Leni – “You have to confess, only then they’ll let you get away.”
Whipman – “Don’t believe everything they’re saying, it’s the fear of being beaten, makes people say anything.”
Titorelli – “Absolute acquittal is the best – total freedom. But there’s nothing anybody could do to get you that.”
Dr. Huld – “If you’re under suspicion and out in the cold, keep moving or you’ll be weighed in the scales of justice along with your sins.”
