Transatlantic Cruise Day 11, Cadiz, Spain: Today was our first step back on land in 11 days! Cadiz is one of the oldest cities in Europe. We took a walking tour and the architecture was beautiful. It just so happens that we are here on one of the only 60 days a year that they had rain. Fortunately, it cleared up by the time our tour ended but it was still quite chilly. Next stop…Malaga.

St Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. This was our 10th visit to St T, and every time, I learn something new. The island, along with St John and St. Croix, was purchased in 1917 by the U.S. for $25M in gold. Currently, the Charlotte Amelia port is the most visited in the Caribbean. I went on a city and shopping tour while David went scuba diving. Such a beautiful day! 🐬💙🌴

Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. The highlight of our day was an eco adventure that included a tour and lunch at an organic farm. It was amazing! We also went up the highest mountain (on a tad scary of a road) and walked the town center. Excellent excursion offered by NCL.
