Trip Overview:
Manaslu Circuit Trekking now known as great tea house trekking. Manaslu Circuit is one of the classic treks in Nepal in Manaslu, the world’s eighth highest mountain followed by crossing Larkya La pass. Manaslu Circuit Trekking is spiritual region, a preferred Himalayan ancient valley well-known in the northern region of Gorkha district Our trek begins with the sightseeing of beautiful city Kathmandu. ‘Larkya La Pass’ is believed to be one of the most dramatic pass crossing the Himalayas.
Our trek to Manaslu circuit Trekking passes through a geographically huge and ethnically captivating area with scenery likely to the classic Annapurna Circuit. Our actual trek starts from the town of Arughat passing through bamboo forests and Magar, Tamang and Gurung villages in the narrow Budhi Gandaki gorge. It also offers the view of splendor forest of pine, Gompas, rhododendron forest and great Mountain View. After visiting Lho village we enter the Nupri region mostly inhabited by Tibetan settlers where you will see colorful prayer flags, Mani walls and monasteries along the way. Upon crossing Samdo village we start our walk towards the Larkya La pass, crossing the high Himalayan pass which is a challenging day though it would be a good objective for a fit hill walker with no previous mountaineering experience. You can see the superb view of Himal Chuli, Manaslu, Cheo Himal and Himlung Himal mountains from Larkya.This isolated mountain and conservation area is home to endangered snow leopard as well.
Manaslu circuit trekking would plea to anyone who is looking for an exciting trek in a remote region of the Nepal. Everyone must plan for trekking to this place. Trekking Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel (1,350 m / 4,500 ft).
Day 02: Documentation.
We have to issue special permit for Manaslu region which is valid for 7 days. similarly we have to issue Manaslu normal permit and Annapurna Conservation Area Project. (you can do Kathmandu city sightseeing with additional cost)
Day 03: Kathmandu to Machhi Khola (920 m / 2,965 ft) by private Jeep / Bus 8/9 hrs - 160 Km / 99.4 mile.
Day 04: Trek to Jagat (1,410 m / 4,625 ft) 7/8 hrs.
Day 05: Trek to Deng (1,804 m / 6,917 ft) 6/7 hrs.
Day 06: Trek to Namrung (2,630 m / 8,626 ft) 6/7 hrs.
Day 07: Trek to Shyala Gaun (3,500m - 5/6 hrs.
Day 08: Trek to Samagaon (3,520m / 11,548 ft) - 2/3 hrs.
Day 09: Acclimatization day in Samagaon.
