Last March, Brigade paused operations for a day to launch our Culture event for the entire Brigade family, including subsidiaries. This event marked the birth of our Five Values, which have since become the foundation of our behaviours.

A year later, we organised a Culture refresher session, "Being Brigade," for all new starters since March 2023 and colleagues who couldn’t attend the initial event. Conducted both face-to-face and virtually, it enabled our subsidiaries to participate as we shared Brigade’s progress in establishing a new culture and introduced our core values and behaviours.

Our culture change is more than words; it involves embedding these values into every aspect of our operations. These are the guiding principles for our actions and fundamental to our quarterly Value Awards.

We have witnessed remarkable changes within the business as we integrate these values and behaviours into our current and future initiatives.

Some of the initiatives our People & Culture team has implemented:
✅ Developing new Job Description templates

✅ Introducing a new Family Leave Policy

✅ Introduced the Zensai (formerly Weekly10) system to support personal development and performance management processes

✅ Implementing a new HR System

✅ Obtaining licenses to sponsor international talent

To celebrate the incredible women in our team, we met with Élodie Porsan to talk about her career and experiences in engineering.

Brigade is proud to support Mental Health Awareness in the workplace and our personal lives. Throughout this week, we're delivering a range of engaging content and activities designed to promote mental well-being.

Today we invited our employees in the UK office to participate in calming activities, including colouring, solving puzzles, and decorating gingerbread men.

These are part of our commitment to creating a supportive environment where stress and anxiety can be openly addressed.

As part of the new DVS legislation, from October 2024 vehicles will now require an active side sensor system that can differentiate between moving and stationary objects. Brigade’s award-winning advanced collision prediction system, Radar Predict, does just that.

Exciting News in Road Safety Innovation! 🚚📢

Radar Predict is Brigade’s award-winning advanced collision-prediction system, specifically designed to protect cyclists from collisions with HGVs to the side of the vehicle.

Using AI technology, the single dual-radar analyses data such as the speed and direction of both the vehicle and the cyclist. By differentiating between static and moving objects, the radar detection system alerts the driver when an impact with a cyclist is likely. 🔄💡
