Founded in 2000 as an Information Technology solution company in entry level services, Codd’s Institute (CIITEX) started Vocational and Skill Trainings in various trades such as Shuttering carpentry, Scaffolding, Bar Bending, Steel fixture, Welder, Electrician, Light vehicle driving, Automobile mechanic, Telecom Technician, Carpentry, Plumber, Aluminium Fitter, Mason etc from the year 2005. stitution is managed by industry experienced professionals having years of experience in country and abroad. The management and projects implementation team of CIITEX consists of management professionals, IT experts, trade specific engineers and dedicated and trained support staffs. MOST Steel Fixture training for 800 youths in five development regions of the country sponsored by Asian Development Bank (ADB) and implemented by CTEVT/SEP in the year 2067-068. In this project, out of the total enrollment (800 trainees), 83% had passed the skills test and the overall verified employment rate was 81%. In 059/060, conducted Skilled & Semi-skilled computer training for 700 people in Kathmandu, Nepalganj and Dhangadhi under the Human Resource Development Program of the government of Nepal, Ministry of Science and Technology. Only 19 institutions, including four engineering colleges were selected by the Ministry to run the required training program. CIITEX was one of the 19 institutions. Conducted customized office package computer trainings to various government organizations, corporations etc. such as National Center for Education Development (NCED, Sanothimi), Rastria Banijya Bank central and branch offices, Agriculture Development Bank central office, Parliament Secretariat, Central Bureau of Statistics, Department of Education, Basic and Primary Education Program (BPEP), Nepal Oil Corporation, T**I, Lutheran World Federation etc. Apart from the above training, conducted several skill trainings in various trades for the past 8 years in almost every corner of the country. CIITEX has a very strong network with overseas job placement agencies and local employers that assures the trainees ample opportunities of employment. Our Strengths:

Expert Management Team: Codd’s institute is governed by a board of directors under which a dedicated management team operates. The management team is constituted of hardcore experts from relevant industries having years of in-country/overseas experiences in diverse fields. We have highly qualified management/IT experts, documentation, monitoring & evaluation professionals, trade wise engineers, expert field coordinators, and dedicated and trained support staffs. Rich Pool of Trainers: with its over a decade long involvement in vocational trainings, CIITEX has gained good rapport with concerned professionals and institutions. As such, we can feel proud to say that many professionals wish to work with us. And hence, we are successful to maintain a substantive pool of trainers in different trades who are well versed in their fields of expertise. Beside our 5 full time trainers in different trades, we currently maintain a roaster of 72 co/trainers from different localities of the country in different trades that have high demand in market. Our listed trainers can be called for job with short notice. Expertise in Vocational Trainings: It’s been 8 years since Codd’s Institute has been involved in Market Oriented Short Term Trainings. Even before that, CIITEX has worked with the government to conduct semi/skilled computer training to youths in far eastern, eastern and mid-western regions. As such, we have gained valuable experience and expertise through implementation of diverse training programs throughout the country. Financial Backup: Our board of directors own number of businesses beside Codd’s Institute. This gives the space for monetary transactions among the companies of the directors making it easy for funding whenever capital need arises. Normally, no sponsors pay training fees in advance, and hence having backup working capital is essential to run vocational trainings smoothly. Codd’s Institute has always this facility in place. Wide Network: In the past decade, we have reached almost every corner of the country in order to implement various trainings. With this, we have developed a huge network with local people, partners, institutions, and organizations. This gives us ample space to conduct mobile trainings in any part of the country. Branch Offices: Currently we have two dedicated branches in the Eastern and Mid-western regions. Through these branches we conduct several mobile trainings in different locations of the regions and their vicinity

Conduct various vocational and market oriented skills development trainings such as Electrician, Sanitary fitting, Automobile, Welding, Steel fixture, Hotel management, Care giver, Decoration and Designing, Scaffolding, Shuttering carpentry, Mason etc. Assist trainees to learn life skills so that they can adept in the market with confidence. Introduce new occupations, through research, that are not being taught so far and thus keep up with the changing world creating new avenues of job opportunities for graduates. Support the Technical and Vocational Training through development of curriculum and manuals of trades/occupations in high demands that are not already included in the list of CTEVT and other TEVT implementation institutions. Help graduates get better paid jobs in country and abroad through efficient placement service.
