Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party was so much fun! Amazing projections on the castle, and the fireworks were awesome!

Last day on Utopia was Perfect Day at Coco Cay. It really was perfect. We went to the swim out tiki bar, floated in the water, laid on the beach, and just relaxed. The water was cool and refreshing.

Before our dinner at Omakase, we had a drink at the rising tide bar, that starts on deck 5 and travels up to deck 8, which is Central Park. We sat in Central Park for awhile and just enjoyed the beauty before dinner.

I didn’t think I’d love such a big ship since I’m a smaller ship girl, but I’m learning that I love both. I can’t recommend this ship enough and I can’t wait to get back on her in February.

We had the most incredible meal at Izumi Omakase. It was an 8 course meal and included the sake pairings. The food was super high quality, and it melts in your mouth. One of the best meals I’ve ever had.

Right now it’s only on Utopia, but I’m hoping they put this on other ships.

We are having an absolute blast on Utopia! The ship is beautiful, the people are great and the vibe is just plain fun! I’ll try to do a live today or tomorrow. Yesterday was so crowded everywhere and I was just taking it all in and enjoying every minute.

It’s official now! Royal Carbibbean has a timeline for the new, smaller
Class of ships, the Discovery Class. The first ship in this new class is 3-4 years away.

The ships will be about the size of their Radiance class, which is about equivalent to Carnival’s Spirit class. This is a total game changer. No other major cruise line is building smaller ships. Smaller ships can go to some ports that larger ships can’t, and a lot of people like the smaller ships. I know I do!

What do you think about this? Do you like the smaller ships or the mega ships?

Carnival is going to be building a new class of ship to compete with Royal’s Oasis class ships. What do you all think? I like the higher ships, but wish they would build some new smaller ships as well.

Well we just did something a little bit crazy. We booked the inaugural sailing for Star of the Seas in August 2025.

All the pictures and videos of the inaugural for Utopia made us really want to experience this. The price is high, but not as high as I expected. This will be so cool.

29 days until we board this incredible new ship! 3 days won’t be enough so we are already planning our 2nd voyage with some friends for end of Feb. who wants to join us? What an incredible drone show at Disney Springs. I didn’t get a lot of pictures since I wanted to take it all in. Next time we go I’ll do a live stream. Disney really outdid themselves.

I’ve been watching a lot of videos on the new Margaritaville at Sea Islander out of Tampa. I have to say I really want to sail on this ship. I was very skeptical about this, but it honestly looks amazing and the reviews have been very positive. Can’t wait to try it!

What a beautiful sight! Tampa’s newest cruise ship, the Margaritaville at Sea Islander, arrived in port this morning. She looks good. Sailings start June 14 and have some cool itineraries. She’s a newer ship than the other Margaritaville ship. Contact me to book a sailing on her!

Date night at the casino. We Turned $55 of free play into $400. Walked out even. It was a totally fun date night and it didn’t cost a thing. We definitely had a little bit of luck tonight.

Great day yesterday in Nola! It was HOT and we walked all day, but it was worth it. French market was so cool. My honey had a Muffaletta sandwich and I had a crepe. Both were amazing. Then onto Preservation Hall, which was one of the best music experiences I’ve had. I knew I liked Jazz, but who knew I liked it as much as I did? It was fantastic and well worth it. Then to Vampire cafe for dinner. We were disappointed that the amazing lamb stew we had last time is only on the winter menu, but the food was awesome and it’s a fun place.

Today we head home. Until next time Nola!

Finally booked Allure of the Seas! Going out of Miami in October. So excited!

Some final thoughts on our cruise on Grandeur of the Seas. The ship is very well kept up. However, the cleaning of the public bathrooms left a lot to be desired. Luckily the ship is very small, so it was easy to just go to our cabin to use the facilities.

The casino was decent. Very small, but had some of our favorite old school games, plus a row of new Mo Mummy, which was super fun! We didn’t win, but had a great time and got lots of points.

The food was mixed. We only went to Windjammer once, and it was very disappointing. The main dining room was mostly really good. And the last night we went to the specialty restaurant, Izumi, for sushi. It was absolutely fantastic. Everything we had was amazing, and so was the service. That was a great experience.

We did not go to the main pool, only the solarium pool, which was great.

This is really not a ship for kids. There is no kids swim area, no water slides or much of anything for kids to do outside of the kids clubs.

The clientele on the ship was really fantastic. Everyone was so nice, and others were commenting on this as well. There were a good amount of young partiers, but they were just having fun, and not being rude or bothering anyone.

All in all it was a fantastic time. We did hate our tiny interior cabin, but we are not ones to let minor things ruin our fun. Below are some pics from the sushi restaurant.
