Before the proposal at the Bellagio Fountains, we had a wonderful dinner at Mayfair Supper Club in the Bellagio. We had a view of the fountains, and the food and entertainment were fantastic.

I’ll get back to posting about cruises and Vegas soon, but on New Years Eve Mr. Liz asked me to marry him in front of the Bellagio fountains right after an amazing dinner at Mayfair Supper club. Of course I said yes!

Battista’s Hole In the Wall has been a Las Vegas staple since 1970. We come here every time we are here. The food is incredible, the prices reasonable and they include the wine with the meal.

I unfortunately did not get a picture of my dinner before I cut up the chicken, but this was the best thing I ever had here and that says a lot. It was a creamy pesto rigatoni with chicken. If you have been to Vegas and not tried this place, make sure you do, it’s amazing!

Jack Binions at the Horseshoe is a not well talked about and definitely an underrated steakhouse. The menu has some very unique items. The lobster bisque was to die for, and the prime rib was cooked to perfection. Shoutout to some of our favorite YouTubers for the recommendation. If you love Vegas and haven’t checked out their channel, you absolutely should! They are fantastic. James and Paul Try it All

Lunch today is at Greenberg’s Deli in New York, New York. The Pastrami Reuben is so good.

The conservatory at the Bellagio never disappoints, but they outdid themselves with their 2024 Christmas display. It is incredibly beautiful.

Cartagena, Colombia was the next stop. It was a beautiful and vibrant city. We visited another fort, this one was extra large. Them we did a tour of a beautiful church and shopping. The vendors in this city were awful and really took away from the enjoyment. They were in your face and very pushy. Other than that it was a great stop. Next time we go there we will do something very different, away from the city.

2nd port stop was Colon, Panama. What an amazing port this is! We went to a fort, and then to the visitors center at the new locks. We were lucky to see 2 large ships passing through. It’s so fascinating how they work. And we saw a sloth!

Finally got to the cruise pictures from Explorer of the Seas 11 night. First batch a few from day 1 on the ship and sail away and our first port in Puerto Limón, Costa Rica.
