Born and raised in Manhattan, a native New Yorker from a family of professional singers, actors, portrait painters and a film producer, Genevieve lived in NYC for 40 years and worked professionally as a voice over artist, actor and singer for 13 years before moving out to beautiful Southern Utah where she has a professional home recording studio amidst the red earth, in only a few hours' proximity to Salt Lake City, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Genevieve sings, plays guitar, cello and piano and performs weekly at multiple venues and festivals in Southern Utah. As a professional singer, Genevieve has a wide range, from soprano to mezzo to alto, and sings styles from folk to rock to classic rock to western cowboy to pop. She is the daughter of a Juilliard-trained opera singer and Broadway singer/actress. Genevieve performed in jazz ensembles, a cappella groups, musicals, plays and in several bands in New York City for 20 years before moving out to southern Utah. Currently singing, playing guitar and percussion in the popular band Ron and Genevieve, she performs weekly for thousands of international tourists at the Canyon Collections of hotels in southern Utah, as well as at annual events and festivals, including Western Legends Round-Up and the Grand-2-Grand Ultra Footrace. As a musical and creative person, her ear is exceptional and, therefore, she hears subtle differences in her reads, can give a wide variety of reads, understands timing intuitively and can work with music well. Represented for 13 years by Cunningham, Escott, Slevin and Dougherty in New York City, Genevieve was a full-time working voice actor and on-camera actor, and, for those 13 years, a proud member of SAG and AFTRA, before moving to the southwest where she has been a working, freelance, non-union voice actor from her home studio in beautiful southern Utah.
