Bali has introduced a new way to quarantine(warm up vacation), and it’s truly something that excites us!

For the four nights (five days) quarantine, you are no longer restricted to staying in your room. You can now enjoy the outdoor areas, hospitality venues, hotel/resort facilities, including Bali's famous Spa facilities, hanging out by the pool, partake in some yoga classes, hit the gym, and enjoy Bali's famous hospitality with a wonderful dining experience; the choice is all yours!

Some of the qualified resorts have planned daily activities to keep you busy and enjoying the experience. Want to take a pilates class? Want to join a Balinese offering lesson? Want to splash around in an aqua-aerobics class? They have you covered!

Back in 2018, when you think you are safe in the channel and the biggest set of the day comes and we can't get the anchor up quick enough. 3/ 8ft bombs grind past the front of the boat and we watch very anxiously. A close call which ended with a beer and a laugh.

A big shout out to my friend and boss Mr Suzuki, he has dedicated a big part of his life to the surf travel industry. The global pandemic has hit many businesses very hard and brought Surfbanyak to a complete stand still. I would like to say to him and all of the pioneer surfers who created business to accommodate our desire to surf perfect waves around the world, HANG IN THERE! and thanks for helping to get us barrelled off our heads in awesome waves!
