Any #cyclists keen to take on the challenging GFNY Alpes Vaujany Croix de Fer on the 28th August?
The chalet is available from Friday 26th and with a newly completed sun deck to enjoy once you’ve completed the race. DM me if you’re interested! 🚴♂️🚴♀️🚴🏿
If you haven’t ever experienced the #mountains in the #summer, this is what you’re missing…we still have a few weeks available this summer so DM me if you want to find out more ☀️🥾🚴♀️🏊♀️⛵️🧗♀️☀️

If you’ve ever wondered just how ‘ski in ski out’ we are, this stunning video taken this morning by @chaletclementine illustrates it perfectly (we are the first chalet in shot on the right)
Flashback to a few weeks ago when we were enjoying perfect snow and sunshine on empty slopes 😍😍😍 Getting out to France this year before the border restrictions came into force was absolutely the best Christmas present I could have hoped for. The news is definitely sounding more positive in terms of easing restrictions for UK travellers so 🤞🤞🤞 we can return there soon…
The last minute decision to close France to British visitors has had so many consequences:
🇫🇷So many people’s holiday and Christmas plans have been ruined
⛷The travel industry and the ski industry have suffered another huge blow
🧳These kind of last minute decisions to close borders really impacts consumer confidence in booking travel
🇬🇧Resorts such as Oz-en-Oisans are increasingly popular with Brits and will be badly affected by cancelled bookings.
⛷Hotels had hired staff, restaurants had bought supplies, ski schools had employed instructors etc.. only to be told two days before the official start of the season that British visitors are not allowed in France without “compelling reasons” from December 18th.
☹️Because the resort is officially open it’s unlikely businesses will get any gov. support
So what I want to do is to help support some of the local businesses that could do with some help - starting with the fantastic Le Chalet du Lac Besson - restaurant d'altitude where we had a delicious lunch out on their sunny terrace today - service was all v covid secure, but above all welcoming and considerate to their guests. You couldn’t really ask for anything more could you?
