The weather is changing, the rain is easing up, and we’re heading into a new season—bringing in different species and fresh batches of fish! 🎣

Recently, we’ve seen plenty of big mahi (50 lbs+), scattered groups of tuna, and black marlin are starting to show up in better numbers. There have also been reports of sailfish making an appearance.

The sun is shining, the wet season is coming to an end, and the seasons are changing! As we move forward, we’ll have less rain and more sunshine, perfect for getting out on the water.

Yesterday, we experienced our first front of the season. While fronts here don’t bring a lot of wind, they bring exciting changes to the fishing. With these shifts, our black marlin season is gearing up to be incredible!

What an incredible night to be able to go to the IGFA Hall of Fame Tommy Gifford awards for some of the greatest captains to ever fish. Tonight I realized how blessed I have been to have fished my whole life, I've seen people tonight that I haven't seen for 30 and 40 years but we all grew up fishing together.
