All packed and ready to go to Belize it or not, BELIZE! My first time and I'm psyched to learn about new islands, yoga poses, and making new friends while captaining the Goddesses around the chain within the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world. Teaming up with Kelley Gardner, my bonus sister thanks to my brother, we will guide our guests towards making new friendships while empowering them to have the time of their lives!

Completed a wonderful teaching charter with 2 awesome sailors who someday will have their own cat and go discover the world with their 4 young daughters. Lucky kids! All of them!!!

Eric and I had a wonderful 3 months exploring Mexico from March-June and came back to San Diego for hurricane season. El Gato is docked at SDYC and we LOVE that we have such a great place to be during Covid. Currently in Baja California Mexico discovering it by land with our vintage VW bus. When things clear up around the pacific we will be heading towards Marquesas and eventually NZ. Meanwhile, we are thoroughly enjoying life both on land and on water. I just completed 2 charters working with West Coast Multihulls using their big cat, a Saba 50, in La Paz for all women groups. They called it the Girls getaway! Thinking of doing some on my own in the Caribbean so if you are interested please reach out. They will be called Wind Goddess retreats. PM me for more info.

March 23, 2021 As soon as the 2 Moderna COVID vaccines were in our arms we provisioned and threw off the dock lines. The first 300 miles took us from San Diego to Isla de Cedros, pronounced Say-dros, a 20 mile island that supports a salt mine and fishing. It was cold, windy, and a fast run. The Newport Beach to Cabo race was taking place as well and Pyewacket smashed the record by 1/2 day....

Sliding south with beautiful breeze on our backs. The water continues to get warmer, and the Gato loves sailing off the wind. Wish I could post photos but it’s not so easy off the grid.

As stated in the last post, I took notes so this is more like a daily log/diary combo. Writing it down as it's happening is the only way I would remember these events so many months later. And of course it's always fun to revisit a good ride! Sorry but this one is LOOOONG! It covers about 2000 miles and I should have broken it up into a few blogs, but since I've taken my time, took many breaks from this for almost 9 months, I'm throwing it all out there at once....
