One of our top destination requests and with the variety of experiences from the enchanting canals of Venice to the majestic Dolomites mountains to the rolling hills of Tuscany to the sparkling waters and intriguing villages of Puglia - what’s not to love? 🇮🇹 🍝 🍷 🏔️ 🏖️

Summer season 2025, you’ll need to budget 1500€ per day based on double occupancy inclusive of 4* boutique hotel accommodations, private transfers and some half and full day private experiences sprinkled in. If you’re planning includes 5* luxury accommodations you’ll want to double that budget. Can you do it for less? You can, but working together with a pro you’ll be sure your hotels are vetted for the best service and quality of stay, and your touring experience is authentic and seamless.

🚨 If you’re thinking of traveling to the UK this year, here’s an important update:

Starting in 2025 you may need an ETA to enter the UK. Here’s everything you need to know.

1️⃣ Who needs one? Any visitors who do not need a visa for short stays in the UK (👉 for US passport holders, that’s us). All travelers, even babies must have one.

2️⃣ When to apply? Apply early (as early as you can), and it must be done before travel.

3️⃣ How long does it take to know if approved? Some travelers will have an immediate approval and the UK agency states you should have an answer within 3 days of applying.

4️⃣ How long is the ETA valid? 2 years

5️⃣ How to apply? Head to the official UK government website or even easier, download the UK ETA app. You’ll need to upload a photo of your passport and upload a photo of yourself. The cost is 10£ and payment can be done by credit card, debit card and even Apple Pay.

6️⃣ What do I do once approved? Once you’re approved, your ETA will be connected to your passport so all you’ll need day of travel is your passport document.

December in Paris! ✨🤩 🤍

We missed a rare snowfall by just a few days, but still, our visit was beyond magical. There’s SO much to experience in this incredible city, but let me make it easy ~ Top 5 places to see after dark:

🎀 Walk along the right bank and Rue Saint-Honoré ~ one of the glitziest shopping streets and some of the best decorations!

🎄Don’t miss seeing the sweetly decorated windows at Galleries Lafayette (the location on Haussmann) and the huge bedazzled Christmas tree inside.

🎁 There a few small Christmas markets including close to the Eiffel Tower, the Trocadero and Place de La Concorde (pro tip: if you’re top focus is on Europe’s Christmas markets, stay turned for 📍Strasbourg, Tallin and Helsinki details)

☕️ Skip the hot cocoa stands in the markets, and grab a cup to go in one the authentic chocolatier shops like - trust me, it will be one of the best cups of hot chocolate you’ve ever had. 🤤

🎠 Wander to Place Vendome, where you’ll find more holiday decor, a carousel and a beautiful place for afternoon tea (or your luxury stay 🌟)

🎻 Ask us how to book a classical concert featuring Mozart, Vivaldi and more -only one hour and held in one of Paris’s historic churches. Talk about great acoustics! A pro’s tip for 24 hours in Rome!

1️⃣ Get up early and we mean 6am early. You’ll have sites like the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon (almost 😉) all to yourself

2️⃣ Put on your walking shoes! Rome is a very walkable city and make sure you discover neighborhoods like Trastevere, an artsy neighborhood best for a local lunch 🍝

3️⃣ Plan for a private aperitivo tour to wrap up your day! We loved meeting .brancatisano who knows where all the best off the beaten path bites and sips are to be found 🍷

Ready for your next destination inspo? We’ve got it for you ~ Costa Smeralda, Sardinia 🩵

📍 Where? An island off the western coast of Italy & this region in the northeast corner of the island. You’ll get there via daily flights from mainland Italy, London and more.

😍 Why? You love crystal clear waters, swimming, boating and sipping on Italian wine paired with incredible fresh seafood.

🏨 Stay? In general, the best 5* luxury hotels are located in this region (stay tuned for more detailed posts on our hotel reviews.)

📅 When? The season here is pretty short, May to Sept (many places close by Sept 15th), and you’ll want to consider the beginning or the end of the season to avoid the jam packed (and terrible traffic) busiest peak season.

🤓 What else to know? This is an area of the island to ‘see and be seen’ with mega yachts, luxury branded shopping and a higher budget needed for hotel stays. A rental car for self-drive is best to navigate since taxis and private drivers are limited. One of the highlights is getting out to the nearby National Park, La Maddelena Archipelago- ask us about setting up a private RIB boat day- We loved it so much, we went out twice!
