Gorokhiya Dol- Nomati, Nazira, A historical monument of the Ahom era ,the Gorokhiya Dol has been reclaimed and also adjacent Dikhow river beach developed into a sustainable Picnic spot.

A historical monument that speaks volumes of the Ahoms era was on the verge of extinction, "Gorokhya Dol in Nazira".The village community got together and formed a Co-operative Society in the name of "Basistha Ganga Samabai Samiti." The have carried out the reclamation of the monument and also developed a sustainable, environment friendly Picnic Spot on the adjacent Dikhow River Bank. The Village

Community of No-mati Bosagaon has come together to take on the responsibility to restore the Gorokhiya Dol and have successfully done so. The Picnic Spot on the Bank of the River Dikhow is attracting Tourists with its activities like Commando Net Climbing, Beach Volleyball and Football, other Army Obstacles and the star attraction -"the speedy Boat ride along the River". The Scenic beauty and the fresh vegetable farms around the area serve as another huge attraction for the tourists.
