Local author Laura Leigh is excited to present her new book, “Elk Calls The Garden Lover,” a collection of poetry, at a pop-up book signing event. The event will take place on Saturday, March 1, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Dolphin Gallery in the Seacliff Center in Gualala in conjunction with the artist reception for the “What Women Do” exhibit by Carole Golden.

Leigh’s latest work delves into themes of nature, love, and the human experience, capturing the essence of the local landscape and its influence on her writing. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the author, purchase signed copies of the book, and enjoy light refreshments.
