Found this little gem on Trev's Eyeball site, for anyone who has ever been to and surfed Noosa this is a fantastic perspective!! Hope you have all been getting some great christmas waves, for me Christmas eve was the session so far. South Coast as good as it gets!!

SUP Safety

Due to the amount of incidents in the water recently with specifically beginner/intermediate paddle surfers and other water users I would like to offer a free 1 - 2 hour informal educational course on surf etiquette, how to deal with certain conditions, dealing with crowds and breaks and how to be safe for both you and others. This follows a recent post by Tim Mayer who is not only a qualified SUP coach but also a surfer, as a senior ISA instructor I am more than happy to educate water users and prevent any problems or accidents in our local area. I would like to add that anyone who is SUP surfing should be insured which you can get through either BSUPA, RYA or Surf GB.

If you would like to put your name to be on the course please PM an interest. Time and venue to be confirmed.

FOR SALE - 8'5 Full Carbon Pocket Rocket dimensions on picture. To be sold with board bag and tail pad. Very good condition has had a couple of scrapes and a minor ding but all repaired by Supernova Surfboards - Great job! 130 litres paddles me fine and I am 90 kg. Stoked is an understatement! Been over to Supernova Surfboardsrecently to see Craig, firstly to repair an old SUP of mine and the conversation turned to long boarding which also involved Steve Darch, a longstanding friend. So now I find myself truly going back to the future with this little baby "The Tangerine Dream Machine". I caught a few small fun waves last Sunday down at Witterings and really enjoyed myself, looking forward to heading west to Eddy's in the not too distant future armed with longboards and SUP's! Just got my new Wave LE Paddle, cut glued and tested - great bit of kit. With the kevlar re-inforced shaft, kevlar blade and ABS rail makes this paddle incredibly durable and impact resistant. Very happy with this, now bring on more waves September!!
