In the last week of the summer term, I presented each pupil with their very own 'Certificate of Appreciation'. This was to remind them how brilliantly they have all done over the last year and I just really wanted to say a big THANK YOU! It's been nothing but a pleasure to be greeted with such happy smiling faces and infectious giggles! It has been a very strange and challenging year for lots of you and you have been amazing and shown incredible resilience throughout.

I thought I'd share just a few pictures of some of my Saturday bunch, looking very chuffed with themselves - and so they should be!! 🙂

A huge 'THANK YOU' to all my pupils for being so brilliant this last half term. I'm so proud of you all with the way you adapted so well to all the new procedures & systems that were put in place to keep us all safe. A big thank you also to my Poptastic parents, whom, as always have been incredible with their ongoing support. Stay safe and keep smiling everyone 🙂

I thought it was time for a refresh!

September 2020 is a big milestone for me as it is 20 years since I first launched Poptastic! What a lot of lovely memories, special times and laughs I have to look back on, not forgetting all the fantastic pupils I have had the privilege to teach and all the lovely families I have met. To mark the occasion I now have a brand new Logo. Just thought it was time for a change. I really hope you like it! Lisa x

PLEASE SHARE...
I've been sorting through a few Poptastic boxes today and I found this piece of lost property - a beautiful hand knitted cardigan that I'm sure is very special to someone. I remember no one claiming it at the time, but couldn't bear to charity it! I'm hoping this time around I can find the owner! Shout out to my older pupils……

You superstars! You have had such an untimely finish to your year, GCSEs and A levels, it all came to an abrupt end for you.

As well as your exams, all your social celebrations have had to be cancelled and I know how disappointed you all are.
I just wanted to tell you that you are all superstars and I’m very proud of you all.

Getting ready for our online fun this week! 😍

I can see that we are all being flooded with online activities at the moment!

Personally, I feel it is unrealistic to attempt to recreate normal lessons into an online version. So, as well as the dancing element, I believe it is as important (if not more important!) to maintain this interaction between myself and you all.

Over the weekend, I will be sending out our first ‘Class Catch Up’ Zoom invitations! Let’s Keep Talking as well as dancing!

I know many of you already have Zoom, please let me know if you envisage any problem with Zoom and I will try to help! 😊
