When James and I decided to take on this new journey, we were watching a beautiful sunset on Maui… you know, just another beautiful sunset here on one of the islands of Hawai’i…
It was a decision that stemmed from mutual dreams to share knowledge of our past, of our world, and as we elaborated on our mutual experiences, we made a pact that wherever we would go, we could meet wonderful people w

ith colorful cultural backgrounds and share the experience with anyone who was ready to take “the world by the horns” as french people would say :)
Traveling anywhere in the world and enjoy the journey, requires a little bit of knowledge. Imagine getting off an airplane in Paris Charles de Gaulle and not knowing what will happen to You in that huge busy city that is Paris, not knowing how to get to the hotel you reserved online from the US. Of course, lack of french words to ask where you need to go and I will pass on the many challenges that you may encounter by asking the “wrong” person where you can buy a sandwich or a specific item needed, deal with the french clerk at the car rental and try to tell Him that the car He is giving you is not what you had ordered etc… Here goes the start of your first day in Paris already filled with too many challenges when you could instead have everything organized for you and maybe even get picked up at the arrivals of your flight….. Lydia grew up in France until She decided around age 20 that this beautiful country was getting a little too small for her already raging desires to see new frontiers…. She moved to Italy and lived there for a few years until She was able to master the language perfectly. Her next opportunity was to sail the Mediterranean to the Canaries, then as She kept accepting the many opportunities, she found Herself sailing across the Atlantic on a beautiful 62 foot double masted custom built sailboat after being hired as a Chef… You can probably already tell that Lydia has many stories to share about her very interesting life as she was evolving from one corner of the Planet to the next…. James is interesting as well and a knowledgeable gentleman who spent many years working and mastering the IT programming field, whose one of his many dreams is to grow a vineyard and make it a “destination”. When Lydia and James elaborated on their travel business plan, they decided that maybe it would be so much fun to bring people on french tours that would combine wine tasting, food degustations, with overnighters in chateaux, evening concerts by local musicians… You see, Lydia and James also share a love for Jazz music and are also both part time performers. So just try to picture yourself in the mist of all this…

- You dream to visit one of the most beautiful countries in the world.
- You love meeting new interesting people and you don’t even have to worry about the language because Lydia is fluent in french as well as italian.
- You enjoy tasting the most aromatic wines -and those are without a doubt delicious as they are selected among the best in the country- mixed with a wonderful home cooked meal by a french Chef.
- You get to interact and be a part of an experience that in no way you could get if you were traveling alone in a foreign country. Lydia and James have made a pact to share this journey with YOU exclusively, and make it the best week or two you have ever spent.
