We have 5 self catering units and we are in an beautiful part of the island, which is only a 5 minute drive from the beach and less than a 5 minute walk to our stunning coastal pathways. Both Shaaron and Andrew who run the business are very proud to be Guernsey local and are always happy to offer guests tips and advice on Guernsey's hidden gems.

We all know and feel that being near the sea makes us feel calmer. It’s often why we choose the coast as our holiday destination.

I still have some availability on my cottages for the May haf term break and the summer holidays for anyone looking to visit Guernsey or have family and friends coming over.

Dotted around our coast you will find traditional beach kiosk huts and more elaborate cafés, serving everything you could need for a day at the beach. Many have benches and places to sit and enjoy your food with a view, or you can take it away and enjoy it down on the sand.

If anyone is looking for a last minute break we have a one bedroom cottage available the week of the 12 & 19 May, lovely time to visit the Island while all the wild flowers are out

Our Islands have experienced an increase in dolphins in recent years, with five different species found around the coastlines.

The best place for spotting dolphins is when you’re Island hopping, with many seen from the boats travelling between Guernsey, Herm and Sark. You can also take guided kayak and rib tours to get the chance to see the dolphin up close.

For more than 150 years, swimmers have been able to enjoy La Vallette bathing pools on Guernsey’s east coast.

The pools are one of the best places to try wild swimming, with the walls creating a safe and contained area for swimming in the sea, and also helping to stop an excess of seaweed or sea creatures from finding their way into the pools.

After your swim, you can warm up in the renovated changing rooms and enjoy coffee and cake from the new onsite cafe.

Te****le takeover! 🐙

A giant octopus appears to have made its home in Art for Guernsey's new Mansell Street gallery 👀

It's all part of its major new Victor Hugo exhibition, which opens to the public on Thursday.

The Islands of Guernsey have an impressive gastronomic reputation, known for serving a variety of delicious, fresh food. The restaurant scene on our Islands is constantly changing and being added to. Whilst local favourites remain, it is always exciting to try something, or somewhere, new.

Monday 18th July 22. Along the Quay, St Peter Port. I haven’t seen the news tonight, but I’m guessing today has been the hottest day on record in Guernsey.
