Great night of music tonight in the Ashe Hotel, Tralee

The Troubadour Club takes place tonight from 8pm in The Ashe Hotel, Tralee. If you haven't got you tickets yet don't worry! Tickets will still be available on the door tonight.

We have a fantastic line up of artists including Pam & Joe O'Connor, Kieran Kelly, Seamus Harty, Queenless Kings, Liam O'Connor & Band, Roy Buckley, Loughy, Dara, Syrens and Glenn Dunleavy 🎸

Tonight in the Ashe Hotel this years Christie Hennessy festival starts with the Troubadour Club event. 9 different bands playing their own original music, and what a great line up it is.
Pam and Joe kick off proceedings with a tribute to Christie followed by young Jamie O'Reilly winner of a national song contest held in Dublin recently, Followed by Kerry's own FoxTales, fourth on the list is Rock band Isolated Frequency from Clare and then Tralees own Mark Leen, The Shans (more famously known as Little Creatures) will be expanding the band to a 4 piece for their set, and then we have Sweet FA who are quickly making a name for themselves. The evening finishes with two special guests Luan Parle and Mick Hanrahan. Finally everyone will join Francie Conway on stage for the grand finale!
Tickets are €10 from Tralee Chamber Alliance or the Ashe Hotel or you can pay on the door. Tickets can be exchanged for a free pint before 9pm.

The fantastic and beautiful Luan Parle will be performing at the Troubadour Club on Friday 3rd November at the Ashe Hotel as part of the Christie Hennessy Celebration.

Meteor & Tatler Award winner Luan Parle has had numerous hits & accolades. Her top 10 hit single 'Ghost' spent three months in the Irish Charts and was the most played Irish single of that year.

Luan Parle signed her first record deal at just 12 years of age and has written and recorded with some of the worlds most successful songwriters & producers including Grammy award winning Bill Bottrell (Sheryl Crowe, Michael Jackson, Prince, Travelling Wilburys, Elton John) & Billy Steinberg (Madonna, Roy Orbison, Cyndi Lauper, The Pretenders, Whitney Houston, The Bangles, Celine Dion).

Luan signed with Elton Johns Management Company Twenty First Artists and opened for Elton three nights at the London Hammersmith Apollo. Signing to Sony Records,

Parle released her critically acclaimed album 'Free' in 2007.

To date she has released 3 studio albums and is currently working on her latest material due for release in 2017.

One week until the Purple Flag Judges arrive!

The Purple Flag is an International Quality Accreditation for the Evening and Night Time Facilities and Services of a town in all matters of Entertainment, Food and Beverages, Shopping and Retail, Attractions, Transport, Public Utilities, Town Management and Public Safety Management.

To obtain the Purple Flag Tralee will be judged by Independent international Expert Judges who will be touring Tralee on Assessment Duties from 27th-30th July 2017. We would ask all retailers and Town Centre businesses to make the extra effort around these dates in terms of their premises and early evening business hours to show off Tralee in the best possible light. We would urge all management & staff to be aware and promote this initiative.
