Today at Linlithgow Loch heading towards the ruins of the Royal Palace. If you don’t already know it’s 15 miles (24 km) west of Edinburgh and was one of the principal residences of the monarchs of Scotland in the 15th and 16th centuries. Mary Queen of Scots was born there and after her son James 6 became King of England 1603, the palace was little used, and was burned out in 1746. It’s still beautiful place to visit which is good for me since i there and visit most days.
