Yes, you can earn double bonus points on your spending if you plan your shopping properly. Continue reading below to optimize your Flybuys earnings

Normally, the offer period for Flybuys offers is either "Wednesday to Friday" or "Saturday to Tuesday" (apart from the 4-week offers). Flybuys sends out the offer by email or in the app one day before the start of the offer period. So, if your offer period is Wednesday to Friday, you will receive the offer email on Tuesday itself.

The trick here is that you can activate the offer on Tuesday itself and earn the bonus points after shopping, even though the offer period is from Wednesday. Now, if you already have a similar offer for the previous "Saturday to Tuesday" period, you will get bonus points for both offers.

I have been receiving a lot of "1200 bonus points on a $30 spend" offer and I always try to do the shopping on either Tuesday or Friday so that I get double bonus points. Just by spending $30, I can earn 2400 bonus Flybuys points which is worth $12 or even more than $30 if I use it to book a Business Reward seat via Velocity. Also, I make sure to just spend $30 on one Flybuys card to keep getting these $30 spend offers.

South African Airways (SAA) will recommence services between Johannesburg and Perth from 28 April 2024
The non-stop flight will operate thrice weekly on the airline’s Airbus A340-300 aircraft delivering 78,936 seats to the Perth market.

I am not a big spender on groceries but across my two accounts, I accumulated a total of 96797 Flybuys points. Out of these, only 2085 were standard points which means my total spend was just $2085 for the entire year.

Japan Airlines has taken delivery of its first A350-1000 from Airbus’ delivery centre in Toulouse, France and will initially operate the airline’s prestigious Tokyo Haneda – New York JFK route.

JAL’s A350 is configured in four classes. The First Class features six Suites, each with a choice of three modes: sofa, seat, and single bed or double bed. The Business Class also offers Suites, with 54 seats and privacy doors. Meanwhile, the Premium Economy Class (24 seats) and Economy Class (155 seats) both feature more personal space and comfort in their respective categories.

JAL has ordered 31 A350 aircraft, comprising 18 A350-900s and 13 A350-1000s. The carrier has been operating the A350-900 on high-density Japanese domestic routes since 2019.
