Good morning! Today is Saturday, October 15th. It’s currently 55° here at Beavers Bend State Park with sunny skies and a high temperature of 93° expected. Winds 5 to 10 mph. (Fire Danger is extremely high. A BURN BAN remains in effect. NO campfires, charcoal grilling, tiki type kerosene torches, or open flames of any kind. Cooking on gas grills only, if they are placed on a non flammable surface)

Burn Ban is in effect for all Mccurtain County which includes Graceful Pines.

A BURN BAN remains in effect. Fire danger is “high”. Absolutely no CAMPFIRES. Grilling in gas grills ONLY. Gas grills must be elevated well above any vegetation. No charcoal grilling, no charcoal or wood burning in park grills, no propane or gas campfire type equipment. No tiki or kerosene type torches. All local law enforcement agencies have agreed to issue citations for violators because warnings have been ineffective. Thank you
