Three more days of fasting, three weeks till @runrocknroll half marathon! 🏃🏻♂️
My training has definitely slowed down a ton, but I’m not mad about it. So much respect to Muslim athletes who are able to keep up their training intensity throughout Ramadan, y’all built different fr 🫡
I’ve been running with @6run5_ and although I’ve missed the last couple weeks, I can’t wait to get back out there! I also snuck in a speed workout with @theexchangerunningcollective before fasting started 🔥
I’ve enjoyed running in the @on Cloudeclipse and I’ll probably run with them for race day.
Who else is running the half / full? Hope to see y’all there!

Arayes are so easy to make! Although I won’t lie to y’all, filming cooking content is hard 😅
I followed @thegoldenbalance arayes recipe with everything besides the cheese, which is not traditionally used in arayes. I used quesillo / queso oaxaca, or you can use mozzarella 😋
@hexclad gifted me some beautiful cookware, including the sauté pan seen in the video. I love the look and feel of their products, and cleaning the sauté pan was super easy. I hand washed mine but it’s dishwasher safe and comes with a lifetime warranty.
I’ll share some of the other products they sent me over stories in the next few days! Check out Hexclad.com for their full line of cookware 🔪
I’m going to make more cooking content in the future, let me know what recipes you want me to make! I know it’ll get easier as I make more videos, but cooking and filming is stressful!
I have even more respect for cooking content creators out there who make it look easy 🫡
We are so blessed to have @oshrestaurantgrill 🇺🇿
This family owned restaurant serves delicious Uzbek food, making many of the dishes from scratch to give you an authentic taste of Uzbek cuisine 😋
It’s often one of the spots on the food tour I offer in South Nashville, where we get to meet the owners who share more about their culture and cuisine. I run public tours on Saturdays, but corporate tours and private groups can be arranged at custom times 🥘
My favorite thing to order is the namesake of the restaurant, Osh. They make a big effort to source the best quality ingredients for this dish, including importing rice from Uzbekistan.
There’s still a lot on the menu I haven’t tried yet, so go with a friend or group to try as many things as you can! They have hearty stews, noodle based dishes, dumplings, kebabs, and more. The Uzbek bread is very filling and flavorful!
Osh is truly a gem in South Nashville and I can’t wait for more people to try them!

If you asked me what’s the one spot to try if you only have time for one meal in Nashville, I’d tell you it’s @arnoldscountrykitchen hands down for me ‼️
I was heartbroken when they closed, but when they announced they’d temporarily reopen this year I quickly wiped away them tears 🥹
If you haven’t been, now is your chance to experience a true Nashville institution. And if you have, you’ll find it’s as good as ever. It’s more than just the food, but the atmosphere, service, and just overall sense of joy that is palpable when you walk in.
The battered grouper hits different. Everything was delicious, but I’m going to be thinking about that battered grouper for a while. Crispy, savory, buttery, it just melts in your mouth. Served on Tuesdays
Lines at Arnold’s sometimes go down the block, but the cafeteria style service ensures it moves quick.
What are y’all’s favorite things to get at Arnold’s? Let me know and let your friends know that Arnold’s is open for the time being!
@thefoxnashville doesn’t need much of an introduction 🦊
Came here with @thehungryloner as part of our series highlighting bars with top-notch signature cocktails and non-alcoholic cocktail options.
The Fox Bar and Cocktail Club routinely tops lists of best bars in Nashville, so expect a wait at peak times (I’d suggest walking to Mickey’s and @feedmemalavida next door if you have a long wait time)
You can book reservations at 5:00 PM, otherwise it’s first come first served
The cookies 🍪 are insane!!! The perfect amount of gooey, chocolate, crispy edges. Just great 🍪
It’s a small, intimate bar where it’s easy to strike up conversation with the people around you 🥃
Have you been to The Fox? What’s your favorite drink to order here?
Let me and @thehungryloner know in the comments and follow for more content like this!
When was the last time you were in a toy store?
Walking through @tablarasatoys brought me back to memories of simpler times. Playing in the cul-de-sac with friends, letting my imagination roam, just being a kid.
It reminded me of the sanctity of childhood.
They have a curated selection of toys, chosen to inspire every type of play 🤸
Normally, a part of their building serves soft serve ice cream, but starting Friday they’ll be renting the space to Santa Claus and his elves🎅🏻
Parents can bring their kids and drop a letter off for Santa 📩 (he just might write back 😉)
Thanks for watching and happy holidays!
I know Nashville and Memphis have some friendly rivalry, but I can’t deny that Memphis has some good eats!
That’s why I was so excited to partner with @memphistravel to show y’all some Memphis Hidden Gems! There were so many good options, I couldn’t get to all of them in a weekend!
I started off at @gusfriedchicken off Front Street in downtown Memphis. I came here as a kid, and it was just as good as I remember!
Saturday morning started off with a delicious grits cake biscuit from @bythebrewery before I headed over for coffee at @antigentrificationcoffeeclub ! It was cool to learn about their work they’re doing to build equity for coffee producing communities in Africa.
Highland Super Submarine Sub Shop, known by locals as Chinese Sub Shop, makes amazing sandwiches. While in line, a number of people mentioned that they had been going there for years, and it was clear to see why!
@901kwikchek was recommended by a lot of y’all, and it did not disappoint! I wish I had room to try more of their menu!
Pho Binh in midtown is known for their lemongrass tofu. The portion size is generous, and I really enjoyed the meal.
@thelegendarysunstudio is legendary for a reason. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this tour as much as I did, but the tour guide was exceptional and did a great job sharing the history of Rock N Roll in an interactive, fun way.
Tom Lee Park in downtown is a new park that has expanded the green space along the river. It was great to see families enjoying a warm fall sunset with some of the city’s iconic landmarks in the background.
Special shoutout to @vonlane_grams for making getting to Memphis a breeze! I had heard a lot about them and it really did live up to the hype! Check them out next time you’re not feeling like making the drive but still want a great weekend in Memphis!

Y’all. It’s mind-blowing how good the food at @ss_gai_nash is. This is a must try! I tried both the fried and grilled chicken and they were equally amazing. The combination of sticky rice, fresh greens (sourced locally), crispy shallots, and a punchy fish sauce make for the perfect bite. If you don’t know where to get lunch this weekend this is the spot! I’m not sure my voiceover accurately communicated how excited I am about this place. Show them some love and let them know we put you on!
🍗
They are located at Bay 3 of @eatwash in East Nashville. The Wash is a set of restaurants serving to go and outdoor seating. One of these days I’ll need to do a feature of all the amazing spots at @eatwash !
🥥
That roasted / burnt coconut is really something different. Let me know what y’all’s thoughts were if you’ve tried it!
Part 2 as promised! @tuttidagio is a place I hope to be eating at for a long time. What are y’all’s go to orders / pizzas from there?
📍5851 Old Hickory Blvd, Hermitage

PART 1 OF 2: it brought me so much joy to meet the family at @tuttidagio 💛. It’s my new go-to place for Italian/Sicilian food in Nashville. The warmth in which they welcome people to their restaurant is a beautiful thing to experience. Hearing Giovanna and her son talk about their love of Sicily and their love for sharing food made this a meal I will never forget. The pesto gnocchi is a delicious bite, but truly everything we tried was delightful, including their wood fired pizzas. More on that in the next post! (*At the moment they are outdoor seating and carry out only*)

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, grandmas, and maternal figures in your lives! With Mother’s Day coming up this Sunday, I wanted to give y’all a couple options for gifts and activities to do with mom!
💐
I know days like this can be hard. Sending a big hug out to everyone who is missing a loved one a little extra this weekend 🫶🏼💛
🍫
I spotted @poppyandpeepchocolate on a coffee run to @matryoshkacoffee , and after seeing @nashvillewithcaitlin post about how they make their chocolate, I knew I had to get some for my mom (and get some for myself😅). The toffee chocolate bar is their best seller, and after trying a piece I totally get why! Some of the best artisan chocolate I’ve ever had.
💐
I’ve always been a big fan of @ameliasflowertruck flowers! Whether you shop with them or your preferred florist, have some grace for them this weekend as they deal with all the demand 💛
🕯️
Really enjoyed the candle making class with @paddywaxcandlebar ! The classes are fun, simple, and you get to take your candle home the next day after the wax sets! Shoutout to Linda for being a great instructor!
@lauras_cocina_ opened up earlier this year and is one of my new favorite spots! The menu has a mix of Mexican and Honduran dishes, with a couple Tex-Mex crowd pleasers thrown in. Next time I stop in I want to try their chilaquiles or enmoladas 😋
📍: 4407 Nolensville Pike
This was the last meal I had out before Ramadan started and it was exactly what I needed! @reebarnashville is a Palestinian restaurant that recently opened up in the South Nashville area serving real deal Palestinian food! The family running Reebar is extremely kind and they’re passionate about sharing their amazing cuisine with Nashville.
🥙
As usual, I recommend grabbing a few friends and ordering anything on the menu that excites you and that you haven’t tried before. You won’t be disappointed! The space is huge and always kept very clean. Service is friendly. Excited to see this small business grow as the word gets out about them! 💛🇵🇸
