Tell me are you a water park family or prefer to hang at the pool all day?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While personally I prefer the pool the rest of the crew loves the action that the water park provides and while I'm a Disney girl through and through, this is where Universal takes the cake! Volcano bay is the best water park, you'll find great rides mixed with a lazy river and wave pool for a bit more relaxation.

Rent a cabana here so you never have to worry about chairs or someone staying with your things (each cabana comes with a locker). The best part is your own personal Tapu Tapu which lets you get on a virtual line for the top rides all from your personal cabana!

How can you make sure you get your ideal vacation dates? Book early, there's a lot of flexibility to move dates or cancel but trying to get those most desired dates later isn't an option!

Chef Ken is magic and this is his Lobster Benedict with Gluten Free fried green tomatoes and it's just as delicious as it looks and sounds!

Do you like to sprinkle in some "fancier" options during your Disney Vacation?

Part of experiencing a destination is exploring it through food, since our first trip resturant were always a top priority.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Flying fish had long been on the bucket list but other options kept winning, on our last trip we finally got to experience it! Located in the boardwalk area (aka the best location on disney property) makes it an easy option from both Hollywood Studios or Epcot or even better plan it for a resort day dinner and really get to experience what the boardwalk is all about!

Gluten Free Breakfast at Disneyland...

I want to tell you that there are so many options that you don't even have to worry but that's unfortunately not the case... Quick Service breakfast options are hard to come by, combine that with an allergy (or two) and it's a whole different ball game.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Heading over to Carnations Cafe or the Plaza Inn at Disneyland for a sit down breakfast is going to be your BEST option but that doesn't always work, in Disney's California Adventure head over to Pyms Kitchen for the Calculated Breakfast = E x 2 + (B+P)/T. Simple bacon and eggs with toast and GF tater tots (yum) to start the day off right!

Try these three safe and delicious foods on your next visit to Disneyland!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Breakfast at Pyms Test Kitchen. Enjoy the Calculated Breakfast = E x 2 + (B+P)/T with Eggs 2 ways and such a fun resturant to experience!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Burger from Lamplight Lounge, in full disclosure if I could have Dairy I would order the Nachos but the burger was delicious. Head over there for sunset and enjoy a cocktail (or mock-tail) as the sunsets over Pixar Pier.

3. Get any of the tacos from Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill. These are the Al Pastor, the QuesaBirria are all the buzz but can't be made Dairy free, so if you can eat dairy I would recommend getting those!

Everest reopens today after a king refurbishment! While it used to be available for individual lightening lane purchase it’s included in Genie + through august 7th!

Beignets or Mickey waffles for breakfast?

Mickey waffles can be pretty easy to come by at disney. You can find them (allergy friendly as well) at most resort resturant (both table and quick service). But if you've got Beignets on the mind (and mickey shaped ones if you can eat gluten and all the things) head over to Port Orleans French Quarter.

1. Breakfast at Tusker House. Enjoy all the mickey waffles you care to enjoy with a visit from Mickey, Goofy, Donald and Daisy! The breakfast potatoes are phenomenal (and I don't even like breakfast potatoes)

2. Gluten free (not dairy free) churros from Nomad Lounge. The best place to take a break in animal kingdom and I mean anywhere they can make Churros this good (which are also gluten free) how can you miss it?

3. Get any of the bowls from Satu'li Canteen. You get to pick your own protein, base and sauces so the options are really endless and delicious!

Looking to up level your dining at Animal Kingdom...Head straight for Nomad Lounge!

Make a meal out of it or just go for the churros (gluten free of course)! It's the perfect place to take a mid day break. Keep your eyes on the water and find some of your favorite characters float by. You don't need a reservation but check your My Disney Experience app early and join the walk up list.
