Super Saturday: This morning I was doing a bit of admin work in my office that included organizing my upcoming calendar.
Familiarizing oneself with new destinations and industry developments is essential for staying competitive in the travel industry. By engaging in educational opportunities, such as classroom sessions and hands-on experiences, we can expand our knowledge of the latest trends and offerings. This includes learning about upcoming promotions and enhancing personal travel expertise by testing new products, like the Lightning Lane Premier Pass newly released by Disney. My upcoming schedule demonstrates this commitment: In October, I will attend an in-house training at Universal Resort Orlando, including classroom time and Halloween Horror Nights. In November, I will head to Disneyland in Anaheim for the opening of Tiana's Bayou Adventure, experience the new Lightning Lane Premier Pass, and attend Mickey's Holiday Pajama Party Brunch. In December, I will spend ten days in Paris, including a visit to Disneyland Paris, followed by a sailing aboard the Norwegian Encore early next year. These experiences will provide invaluable insight into new products and destination experiences, ensuring I stay at the forefront of industry trends. First hand knowledge of new products ensures I am able to advise my clients as best as I possibly can.
