You may have heard the announcements about the new Monsters INC family coaster coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. There was speculation that coaster and there whole new monsters “land” would take over the muppets area. We now have confirmation that is true!
Muppets 3D, the ionic Miss Piggy Statue and Pizza Rizzo will shut down to make way for the coaster and land.
However, the muppets will now be taking over Aerosmith’s RockNRoller Coaster. Rumors of a retheme have been swirling for years but now we know!
Don’t worry, you have plenty of time (we think) to enjoy these classics. Looks like we are looking at 2026. Most likely summer/fall.

💫2020 at Disney World was WILD. Masks outside and on rides, staying 6 ft apart in lines, NO genie +/fast pass/whatever we are calling it now!
💫It was a 10 year anniversary trip that Ryan and I had planned for a year. We had ALL the things booked : swimming with dolphins (RIP dolphins in depth at EPCOT), wild Africa Trek, Wine and Dine half marathon (villains theme!), all the restsraunts at Coronado Springs we never wanted to take kids to, like Toledo.
💫None of those things came back in time (well some of the restaurants at Coronado did), but we chose to go anyway. We even did the virtual Half before we went.
💫Ryan and I get to go back as kid free Disney adults in 2 months for my SECOND full marathon. This time, it won’t be part of D***y so no 2:30am wake up calls 4 days in a row 😴

Update! If you leave your birth certificate at home, no more showing them a picture!

16 and up MUST have a government issued ID.

I’ve traveled with and without passports. You don’t need a passport for most closed looped cruise out of the US, but I definitely felt better having that AND my ID and birth certificate.

We love the slower pace at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The trails are a must do. I especially love the bat nook with the giant flying fox fruit bat. So cute!

Besides Rory getting hurt, we had a great time at the H2O glow night party!
🩵It’s a hard ticketed event at Typoon Lagoon.
🧡It’s about $85 (prices vary)
💛It includes, unlimited fountain drinks, popcorns, and 3 different ice cream treats.
❤️There also party exclusive snacks you can buy as well as the normally served options.
💚It’s from 8-12 but you can start entering the park at 6.
🩷At 8, the DJ party starts and the snack stations open.
