Given the latest projections for Hurricane Ian, Walt Disney World theme parks and water parks will be closed on Wednesday, Sept. 28 and Thursday, Sept. 29.

Disney Springs will be closed on Wednesday, Sept. 28.

It is anticipated that Disney Springs will be closed on Thursday, Sept. 29, and updates will be provided as Walt Disney World continues to track the storm.

Walt Disney World is monitoring weather conditions so timely decisions can be made for the safety of our Cast and Guests, including when it’s safe for Cast to return to the site to prepare for reopening.

Beginning Oct. 14, 2022, for Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wish sailings and Nov. 7, 2022 for Disney Magic sailings, Disney Cruise Line will no longer require Guests to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the time of sailing, however, it is highly recommended.

All Guests ages 5 years and older who are not fully vaccinated (Unvaccinated Guests) will need to submit proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken 1-2 days before the sail date. Guests ages 4 years of age and younger do not require testing.

Beginning Sept. 23, 2022, for sailings aboard the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish and Disney Wonder and beginning Nov. 7, 2022, for sailings aboard the Disney Magic, fully vaccinated Guests are no longer required to participate in COVID-19 testing in order to sail.

Guests who are not fully vaccinated must continue providing proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken one to 3 days before the sail date. However, Guests who are not fully vaccinated will no longer be required to complete a second test at the terminal on embarkation day.

As a reminder, Disney Cruise Line requires all passengers ages 12 and up to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Dreamers, if you have a Disney World Vacation booked, you might've noticed that starting today, your Park Pass Reservations look different than before!

This is a new update that's been designed to make the system easier to work with as your Disney World plans develop!

All guests can now modify their theme park reservations, including dates, park and party members (subject to availability), rather than having to cancel and re-book.

Guests may also now book theme park reservations with different admission types – so whether you’re an Annual Passholder, date-based ticket holder or visiting with a Cast Member, you can all make your reservations at one time.

Beginning September 2, 2022, for sailings departing US and Canadian ports, the requirement for children being vaccinated against COVID-19 changes from age 5 and up to ages 12 and up.

"Beginning September 2, 2022, for sailings departing US and Canadian ports, Disney Cruise Line will require Guests ages 12 and older to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the time of sailing, as defined by the CDC. In consideration of CDC guidance, Disney Cruise Line highly recommends that Guests ages 11 and younger be fully vaccinated before sailing."

Harmony Barber Shop is opening its doors once again on July 31 for the world’s most magical haircut. To ensure service is a cut above the rest, a limited number of reservations for this timeless experience will be bookable in the My Disney Experience app beginning June 28.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will also begin reopening its doors for royal transformations later this year at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. We'll keep you posted once we get official dates!
