I was a court reporter for 20 years and am still in the legal field as a videographer as my full time job. As much as I love Disney and Universal, a cruise is my favorite way to vacation.

Travel Tip Tuesday!

Here are some tips for traveling with toddlers:

⏰️Arrive early: Give yourself extra time to account for unexpected delays and to keep your pace relaxed.

🪟Choose a window seat: This is generally safer for toddlers because they can move around without interfering with flight attendants or service carts.

🛫Book nonstop flights: If possible, schedule your travel around your child's nap so they can get some rest in the air.

✅️Gate check your stroller: Even if your stroller doesn't fold up, you can tell the counter attendant you want to gate check it.

👜Prepare for security: Pack items that need to be removed during security so they're easy to reach.

🎮Bring travel activities: Pack a bag with toys, coloring books, pencils, and storybooks.

💺Consider buying your child their own seat: As your child gets older, they might need their own seat to sit in.

🧁🎂🍰Bring snacks and drinks: Keep your toddler happy and hydrated with plenty of snacks and drinks.

🤱Plan for breaks: Toddlers need frequent breaks and opportunities to move around.
Be patient and understanding: Travel can be overwhelming for young kids.
