Covid-19 Update
In response to the rapid spread of the Omicron variant of the COVID-19 virus, new entry requirements for travel to The Bahamas have been introduced. After 11:59 p.m. Sunday, December 26th, visitors applying for a Bahamas Travel Visa will be required to submit test results in accordance with the following entry requirements.
Effective Dec. 27, test results older than three days (72 hours) will not be accepted.
Vaccinated Travelers:
Between Dec. 27 and January 7, fully vaccinated persons will be required to obtain a negative COVID-19 test to enter The Bahamas (either Rapid Antigen or RT-PCR), taken no more than three days (72 hours) prior to arrival.
Effective Jan. 7, full vaccinated persons must present a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR (including PCR, NAA, NAAT, TMA or RNA) test. After this date Rapid Antigen Tests will no longer be accepted. Travelers must obtain a COVID-19 RT-PCR test.
