I went to Thailand a couple months ago, and I have so much to share!

Maya Bay, for example, was made famous by the movie “The Beach”, starring Leonardo DiCaprio. It was closed for 3 years so that the ecosystem could recover from the impacts of the heavy tourism in the area.

Now there are a few rules you need to follow when visiting it, such as no swimming, and there’s a limited time you can stay there, and limited number of people at once.

It’s a gorgeous place and I’m glad to know it’s being looked after 🥰

Also, always keep in mind that you’re probably never gonna see those people again, so there’s no reason to worry about what they might think about you!

The first time talking to strangers is the hardest. It gets easier the more you do it 😎

To think that I had NEVER been on a boat until I moved to Australia 😳

I really love the ocean - even though I’m still a bit scared of it. Having the opportunity to go on boat trips, and watch the sunset or sunrise from the water is absolutely amazing.

Maybe for you this is an everyday thing, but for me, this is extraordinary 💫

It’s not easy at all, I’m glad I make it look easy though.

It’s challenging as f*ck! 😅 It requires motivation, overcoming fears (such as being lonely, not being able to make friends, talking to strangers, trying to get a job, running out of money, maybe trying a different job, living alone, or living with strangers….) 🫠

But you know what?
If I, who is scared of the dumbest things, who still has nightmares, who is not “tough”, who has always had only a few friends through school, who was socially awkward, or just awkward in general, scared of speaking in public, etc
If I was able to overcome these feelings - I am sure you are too!

Truth is that these challenges make us stronger, and when we grow, we may need to change our environment, so that it suits us better - or make us grow even more 😉

“I had a dream that some day I would fly away” and here I am today, living the life I dreamed for so long.

This picture was taken the first time I visited the Whitsundays, it was also the day I decided I would live in paradise. It was about 1.5year ago, and so many great things have happened since, that confirm I’d made the right decision 💞

Our memories are the only thing that will stay with us forever. Let’s do what make us happy and create sweet memories ✨
