Some highlights from a recent stay at Serenity at Coconut Bay

✨ Super convenient location just around the corner from the airport ✈️

✨ Clients were self-proclaimed beach bums at their cabana for the day with bars and beachside burgers 🍔

✨ ATV excursion through the rain forest 🌳

✨ Half-day tour of Soufriere with a private driver chauffeuring clients while they took in all the island sites including an active volcano, chocolate farm, waterfall and a beach with the locals… 🏝️

Catching up from our own trips with a Disney download…

Our first night we scheduled dinner at the Wilderness Lodge with some crazy characters including D***y, Grumpy, the Evil Queen and Snow White. 🍎 We all highly recommend Storybook Dining at Artist Point! ⭐️ Elevated dishes and creative presentation, entertainment and fun for all.

Our boat ride back to our hotel was quite the adventure and we won’t ever forget our really funny captain and the kids laughing all the way. Sometimes the little and unplanned things make for the best memories! 🛥️

Second day was a split one with Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Our first ride with Remy 🐀 👨‍🍳 was a blast and we all survived our first ride together on Guardians. 🚀 Some did better than others 😅 - Mama 🙋🏻‍♀️ gets a little motion sickness but I would do it again as it was THAT amazing.

The new Moana water exhibit was a hit too. Great for those hot park days and for all ages. 🌺

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that multiple bookings this year are for resorts that have • serenity • & • sanctuary • as part of their names.

Life moves fast.
2024 is already flying by.
There’s a time and place for fun and adventure.

But it’s also so nice to take a break from the hustle and bustle at resorts built around the ideas of rest and relaxation.

Apparently it is “Take a Cruise Day” and while most of us aren’t on one today we can certainly start planning them! 🚢 🗓️

I just finalized an itinerary today for a client’s spring break cruise and sent it on for her to know their details are DONE and all they do now is get there and ENJOY! Flights, hotel info, cruise confirmations, excursions and daily plans all in one place and - done! 🥳

In addition to everything offered ON the ship they are scheduled for a bike tour in Grand Cayman, water park and island time at CocoCay as well as a river tubing tour. 🚲

Being very honest here I didn’t think I was much of a cruise person. But after traveling on two last year I’ve realized how EASY of a vacation it is with kiddos, how relaxing it can be for just adults and friends or a perfect vacation for a solo traveler. There are so many options to pick from and can suit almost anyone at any age. 🤩

So many places to travel, and only 365 days in a year! And January is almost gone!
So how do you narrow it down? Ask yourself these four questions!

❓What do you not get enough of every day?
Some clients need rest, others want more adventure. Some want both!

❓How much time do you have?
How many PTO days do you have, and how can you maximize them?

❓How much money can you spend?
An important consideration when deciding.

❓What weather makes you happy?
Some like it hot, others need a plan to escape the stifling humidity when it arrives.

These questions are a great way to narrow down the list a little.

Don’t hesitate to share your answers with me, and we can brainstorm your next getaway together.

The winter blues are definitely a thing! Especially for me! Currently covered up in a blanket and looking forward to warmer days…anyone else?

When the weather gets cold here in Alabama and we've taken down the twinkle lights, there’s one thing I like to do:

And you guessed it, I get a trip on the calendar so I have something to look forward to! It helped me so much last year.

Right now, I'm putting the finishing touches on our own Spring Break trip for March.

And while I prep and get excited for that, I’m also thinking about other getaways to keep the vacation vibes alive this winter.
