Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival - Saturday April 15, 2023 - Oregon -
Ahh..So ready for Spring….Come, hop in and let’s head out to Woodburn, Oregon and see what Mother Nature has been saving for us.
We will be visiting the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm which is hosting the 2023 Festival. There will be lots of tulips and daffodils, walking in the fields, photographs opportunities, or just relax…
For those who enjoy wine tasting, there is a vineyard on site with a wine tasting room, plenty of food trucks to satisfy your palate, and maybe even a ride on a Hot Air balloon if the weather conditions are right. You may visit their website for more information: www.woodenshoe.com/
After our visit, we’ll then head to Woodburn Outlet Mall, where you may shop to your heart’s content. Reminder: TAX FREE. Head start on birthday presents, Christmas gifts or treat yourself.
Please dress in layers, raingear, umbrella [depending on Mother Nature], wear comfortable shoes, rubberized boots [fields may be muddy] or something that doesn’t mind a little dirt!
Our Charter bus [restroom on board] will pick you up in in Port Orchard at 6:45 am and Home Goods in Gig Harbor at 7:30 am. Return time will be approx. 9 pm. Reserve your spot now.

Everyone who came had a fantastic time. The day was bright, Mt. Rainier's summit was clear, and the smiles were aplenty. The crowds were small, the bus was big, and the sights were great.

Skagit Tulip Festival - April 23, 2022 -
Photographer enthusiasts, outdoor lovers, gardeners…..feast your eyes on the bounty of this earth as we travel to the Tulip Festival in Mt. Vernon, WA. Depending on what Mother Nature provides, you will see blooming Tulips, Daffodils, Iris, Hyacinths, Crocus plants and more.
We will be visiting Roozengaarde, the largest bulb grower in the United States with over 750 acres of flowered fields and 3 acres of display gardens planted with over 300,000 flowering bulbs, providing a gorgeous display of color during early spring,.
Tulip Town – a country fair-style festival with a barn and indoor tulip displays. Access to the Tulip fields will provide plenty of opportunities for those memorable photos. Both locations have gift shops. You will also be able to purchase cut Tulip bouquets, potted Crocus, Hyacinths and Iris and even order bulbs for fall plantings.
You will also partake of delicious Salmon BBQ lunch comprised of a slab of salmon, baked potato, cole slaw, garlic bread, beverage and ice cream bar.

Unfortunately, due to rough terrain and bus limitations, we are unable to accommodate motorized wheelchairs.

Pictures are a thousand words... The Pacific Northwest has been my home for the past 30 years and 14 of those years have seen me traveling and presenting tours throughout this beautiful part of the world.
